My mother lives in Riverhead, NY. She has been living with no AC for years, she said that it was not worth spending money on. I wanted to get her a AC unit for Christmas, not being from NY I did not know where to get a AC unit for a good price. I Googled air conditioning long island and Flanders Heating & Air Conditioning had the most positive recommendations. I called and told them what I wanted and they were happy to help, they worked with my schedule and brought and installed the unit while my mother and girlfriend were out shopping. My mom did not know she had an AC unit till Christmas morning, thanks Flanders Heating & Air Conditioning!
The service person is good and we liked, but he replaced a capacitor that was working good, I don't want replace part that working unless absolutely necessary to avoid a problems.
Took a few tries but everything came through with flying colors. Geo-thermal units are tricky but the Flanders team kept working on it. It works perfectly now. Thanks Jeff and Henry!!!
For 2 years I have paid flanders hvac for service calls because my boiler shutdown. I finally got a real HVAC service company to look at my boiler and it turned out to be the oil valve was not fully open and starving the oil burner, then shutting down. Every time I called flanders they charged me for the service call even though I had a service contract with them. In addition, they where constantly telling me I need a new HVAC system. The new company I hired, told me that my current HVAC system is fine and could provide several years of dependable service. What A RIPOFF!! Find a competent HVAC contractor, my advice.
Worst experience ever and now I am stuck with them! Customer service is horrendous and they never get back to you when promised. They never did the installation correctly the first time.
