Horrible customer services! I'm ex-millitary I'm used to poor service but this was outrageous. I have low income and had a question about pricing and didn't understand something about pricing. I was matched with absolute rudeness with a prompt ending of the call. When I called back I was being mocked for not being able to afford it. .
Hills came to clean our gas log set and perform routine maintenance. They were on time, very polite and professional. Thank you to Alex who performed the work and answered all of our questions. Fair pricing too! Hills also worked on our AC last year and we were also very happy. Thanks Hills!
Technician was here for a while and determined that I needed a new part to fix the issue. I paid for his time and he told me that Hill's heating would get back to me, a week went by and I had to call them about the part. They wanted to charge double the price plus labor, i refused and went with someone else. The other company was able to properly diagnose and it turned out to be an issue with a completely different part. Needless to say I will not be using Hill's heating again.
We were in a jam on a cold Saturday morning with an oil burner that was out of commission. In fact, it had just been cleaned the day before by our usual (old) company. They were out of town and could not come back out. Not only was this company immediately on call, they immediately set up a service visit for a reasonable price within a few hours. Anyone who has an oil heating system knows that is golden. Other places want a bunch of Benjamin's just to walk in the door - seriously price gouging. Turned out to be a loose filter case (easy fix) that the other guy failed to tighten. Thank you Hill's! We will be calling you again next year for maintenance work.
We have Hill's service our old furnace ever year. They fix any problems that are found without trying to sell us unnecessary things. They are honest and knowledgeable.
Our water heater broke and we had water flooding everywhere. I called Hill's in a panic left a message on their emergency line as it was a Sunday, and promptly received a call back from Jeff. He was wonderful and understanding of my panic and lack of knowledge as he walked me through how to turn off the water. We used both phone, and text to send pictures of my water heater. He was so patient and knowledgeable about troubleshooting issues. Special shoutout to Jeff!
Our water heater was dead, but Jeff said that Hill's could have a brand new one installed the next day. Monday morning we had an installation time for that day, and the service crew arrived on time. Installation was great - very friendly and professional, and they showed me how everything works.
I don't foresee having any issues with our new water heater, but I will definitely be using Hill's for any future needs! Thanks, Hill's!
BEWARE ! We have spent over $9000 with this company in the last 6 years. I had a problem with the fireplace insert that they installed . I asked if they could order a part for it and a long story short I got hung up on. In asking around I have heard the same from other old customers. They use to be a good company . I think they have a new owner now that is not very customer friendly. Too Bad.
In August of 2021 I realized the HVAC system needed to be replaced. I called Hill's for advise and a quote to replace. A very knowledgeable and professional person came to my house. He looked at the Complete HVAC system and recommended a very professional upgrade replacement with the lowest price quote I could find. In a very reasonable time Hill's sent two professionals to install the best HVAC system I have ever had. The installation was perfect. One year later Hill's contacted me to have a service person come to my house to do a free and complete 1 year maintenance system check. The professional service tech did a outstanding job. All Hill's employees were professional, polite and punctual. Thank You Hill's HVAC .
