Furnace crapped the bed on one of the coldest nights of the year... They were the ONLY local service who is "24 hours" to even respond, and their tech Jeff was great and was here at 4 a.m., within 45 minutes of calling. Had to replace the furnace, but their sales rep, Jim, was here first thing at 8:30 a.m., and sent over Chaz and Jake (all 3 were amazing also) and got a new furnace installed within 12 hours from 4 a.m. Prices were great on top of the awesome experience. Hill's out of Baldwinsville has earned lifetime customers. Thanks again
Had a scheduled appointment for 5-7-19, 10:00am - 12:00 noon. Supposed to service my air conditioner and heating. They informed they would give a courtesy phone call prior to arriving. I took off from work and waited, and waited, and waited. NOTHING!
Very upset with this company. I called on a day when the temp was extremely cold. We have a special needs gorl in the house and explained to the serviceman that we needed heat. He did a bit of testing and discoverer the fam motor was shot. After he checked the price of a new motor ($1300.00) he said he could put another motor on until we had it repaired. That is a lot of money for a 2 stage blower motor and we couldn't afford it, so we checked around an found a complete new furnace (same brand and size) for $200.00 less. I put it in myself to save money. I am a disabled person and on a very strict budget. Anyway, I called hill's because they sent a bill for $300.00 for the temp motor and asked if it could be restocked and was told no because it was now a used motor and they couldn't use it. I ran my furnace for 2 days. My fiance called and discussed it with the woman in the office and was told they could have left us with no heat. Very unprofessional on their part. Here's the kicker, my whole family has been been using hill's for over 20 years, and that doesn't matter to them. They would not budge. Very poor business. I was told the serviceman made a mistake and didn't charge me at the time of servive. Needless to say, ive contacted my family and we will no longer be using hill's heating and air conditioning.
I called Hills because my furnace had quit. They came out within 35 minutes of my call, and were very professional, their tech knew what the problem was and had the parts with him, he completed the no o. In a out 15 minutes. I will be using them again for my furnace needs.
Quoted $152 for the first half hour, then an hourly rate of $152 per hour because tech would have come after normal business hours. Can not comment on quality of work because I did not hire them.
A huge thank you to your company and especially to Dan who did the work! There's nothing like selling a house and finding out in the late afternoon the day before closing that the furnace isn't working. Dan diagnosed the problem that day and fixed the furnace the day of closing. Dan was my not-so-secret Santa for sure. I will add that all of the people I spoke to at Hill's were very professional, customer-focused, and friendly. Thank you again!
