I have been using Western Mechanical since 1999. Mike and Jimmy are very responsive to any issue. Jazmyn is a gem to talk with and is very prompt when returning calls and emails. Western has handled numerous issues for us and have some great technicians who are prompt, polite and professional. John, Victor and Dakota have really impressed me with their expertise and attention to detail. A great company.

I highly recommend this company for HVAC repair/maintenance. I was given a recommendation from a friend who uses them in Socorro, I’m in San Acacia and it’s not easy to find a company that comes out here or anyone to even call you back around here. I received excellent customer service when I called to schedule, the service date was within a week of my call. Victor the technician was on time, called me to let me know he was near, he was prompt professional, skilled, knowledgeable and most of all very personable. I am extremely pleased with Victor, the service and communication he provided, and best of all was the cost- very affordable! Thank you so very much Western Mechanical and Victor, I will definitely be using you for future needs and recommending you to others! Great job, happy customer!!

I booked Western Mechanical for a diagnostic service on our home AC unit to find out what is wrong with it so we can know how much it will cost to fix it or replace it.

I appreciate the work they did but they always hide fees and not upfront with you. When I booked the appointment they told me it was going to be $92 and I expected to be charge that plus tax like any business. After the service is over and it’s time to pay, they bring up that a credit card fee I have to pay if I pay with a debit or credit card and that I should write a check or pay with cash if I don’t want that. This are things that should have been mentioned before hand so I could have it before they came not surprise me with them after the service is complete. I don’t have the time to start rushing to the bank to get an exact change and go get a check at the bank. I’m a business owner myself and I have crooked businesses that hides stuff and try to add it to your bill later. When I called, they said they apologise that they forgot to mention it to me when I booked the appointment over the phone. Well, I don’t care about your apologies because it’s costing me money.

This diagnostic service was completed on last week Thursday September 1st which is when they billed me. Today is Thursday September 8th (one week later), I am still to receive a report of the findings with a cost of how much it will cost to fix it vs replacing it. They were in a rush to take my money without finishing the work they charged me for.

I do not recommend them at all and I am not even sure if the good reviews they have online are even real reviews!

Tech Daniel came out to fix a drainage and pump issue with our AC system which was leaking water everywhere. He fixed the issue promptly and professionally with dogs and little kids running around nearby. I would recommend this company and will use them again.

My A/C stopped working the Friday of the Forth of July weekend. I called on July fifth, and they said they could come out the next day, between 8-10. The service tech was here at 8. He found the problem quickly, had everything to fix it right then (blown fuse and another little thing) and I was happily surprised by the cost. Now again I am in icy cold bliss, thanks to Western Mehanical

We experienced extraordinary service and professionalism from all the members at Western Mechanical we dealt with. They were diligent and persistent in resolving a problem with the original installation of our heating system by another contractor. Mike and his crew were always courteous and professional and had the technical knowledge to back it up. Highly recommended.

I interacted with Stephanie, the receptionist at Western Mechanical on several occasions to schedule an appointment. She was professional and very courteous. She kept me informed of any changes. She is the first person that a customer interacts with and if this is an indication of the company's reputation, I would highly recommend them. When Victor arrived to work on my boiler, he stated that my boiler needed a modification before he could provide the service I needed. After further discussion and the cost involved he informed me that winter was just about over and since I was putting a new system in. It was not worth it. Its nice to see honest HVAC personnel that do not try to provide services that are not needed. I will use Western Mechanical in the future for my HVAC needs

(Wonderful company. Called when it was time to make an appointment without me having to remember. Joshua was extremely friendly and was enjoyable to talk to you and did a fabulous job. If he wasn't sure on something ie renewing he would say I will get right back to you that afternoon. Sure enough!! Also Amanda was extremely nice on the phone and kept me updated and my paper work. Very professional. 3years ago) I do not like that I cannot at least leave a message after hours/weekend. This is not good especially if it is an emergency.

Unfortunately, we can’t recommend this company. They are very overpriced. We paid $311.15 for their technician to replace the pump and belt on our swamp cooler. That’s a $40, 40 minute job. We had to pay $89 to get the technician out here, and that sum can be applied to your repair. When the technician said he needed to replace the pump and belt, we figured we might as well move forward and apply that $89 to something useful. How much more than $89 could a simple job like that be? $222 more apparently. It’s our fault though. When we asked for an estimate, and he said he’d let us know later, we should’ve heeded that red flag. Obviously, if we had known that price up front, we would’ve just done it ourselves.

I did call the company and tell the manager that the pricing was ridiculous. I looked up equipment costs, and we paid $84 for a $29 pump in addition to $90/hr in labor for the guy to shop for it. The manager explained that he had to charge that much because there’s a lot of overhead that goes into that pricing. I understand that; I do have a management degree. However, charging three times the cost of equipment in addition to $90/hr for shopping for it is padding your pockets not covering overhead. Lesson learned. We won’t be working with this company again.

Western mechanical were fine once they showed up. It was not 24 hours like I was quoted, more like a week. Home depot was not exceptional either. Took numerous phone calls to connect with someone, then passed around numerous times, on hold for over 45 minutes one time. The biggest farce was GE! They have been non- compliant from the start. Always some excuse why they could not send a replacement immediately, even though they had pictures of the damage. I filed complaint an hour after opening the box, on 9-2-20, and still on 9-25-20, I still haven't heard when delivery will be. I will never buy another GE product made by them, and will not recommend anyone else buy from them!!! I want my new washing machine!!!
