I had my air conditioning system installed in my home 4 years ago by another contactor. BIG MISTAKE. After constantly having them come back and 4 years of it never working correctly, I decided to call D. K. Sledzul. Best move I ever made. They correctly diagnosed the problem, ordered the supplies and had it fixed within a week. Very professional outfit. Superb customer service and reasonably priced. I will never go elsewhere. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

My air-conditioning system wasn’t working properly. I called on a Saturday morning and they were there by noon! The driver was clean professional cleaned up after himself didn’t overcharge me didn’t try to upsell me charged me what I feel is a fair price for a service visit.

I hired this so called company to repair my 6 year old handler in the attic. Well they made things even worse. Their techs don’t know what they are doing. I now hired a reputable contractor who claims they messed it up. Now my system is replaced, including new duct work in attic by a company who is the greasiest. SLEDZIK is a NIGHTMARE…….. Do not trust them………

They came to my home quickly. Within 5 min told me there was a problem with my electric panel and I needed an electrician. " It's a voltage problem" I was told. All this without opening the panel on the ac unit. I call an electrician he checks the electric panel and says all is good with the panel. He asks me if the ac guy checked the unit outside. I said no. He opens it and sure enough a chipmunk somehow got inside the AC unit made a nest and chewed the wires. Best part is sledzik took me for $200.00 for the 5 min they were at my house. I will never use or recommend

Had my entire heating system to include ductwork replaced in Nov 2019. House was converted from oil to gas. I had received quotes from other companies and all of them were around the same price. What sold me on Sledzik is they seem to be the only company who is professional. Had 2 companies state they could do the work. First was blue ridge,, I called them to schedule after the estimate and never heard back from them. 2nd company BC Express. Price was $5000 more than everyone else. Sledzik was easy to deal with, they gave me an estimate, got all the permits and competed the entire job in 2 days. It was like an army showed up to the house. 10 workers. All of them very professional and very polite. They went above and beyond what I had expected. Fixing little issues that were no included in the estimate. They even hooked up a 2nd furnace I have in an apartment at no extra charge. My old system was an oil furnace located in my crawl space. They removed that and installed a new gas furnace in my basement. The basement was where I wanted the heating system for ease of access. I no longer wanted to crawl into my crawl space to change filters etc. Both blue ridge and BC express were insisting on placing the unit in the attic. I did not want it there and no matter how many times I told both contractors I wanted the system in the basement they kept insisting to place it in the attic. They both stated it would save me money on the installation costs, but it was not about the money for me. It was about the job being done right and the unit being placed where I wanted it. I did not want a unit in the attic as there's always a potential for leaks, and the last place I wanted a leak in my house was in the attic. Sledzik had no issues with placing the system in the basement. Not one disagreement as to it being placed there. I can't say enough good things about this company. The only downside to the entire project was waiting for NJNG to install the gas line. The contract was signed in August of 2019 and the system was not installed until Nov 2019. The delay was waiting for NJNG to run the lines which only took 1/2 a day but the scheduling for them to come out had me on a long waiting list. Not Sledziks fault. We were lucky in that we had no heat for 2 days but the weather worked with us and was freakishly warm the 2 days so not having heat was not a problem. Sledzik even offered to provide us with space heaters, but we felt it was not needed as again the temps were around 55 degrees both days. Sledzik handled all the paperwork for the state rebate program. All I had to do was sign a couple of documents and they sent them to the state. All in all the experience was a pleasure. I would highly recommend this company. They do what they say, they answer the phone and return calls. In today's age you can't ask for more than that from a company but as stated they went above and beyond what I expected. Great work and very pleased.

Had a great experience! Left a message and got a returned call quickly. Took care of our issue swiftly and absolutely professional! Would recommend to anyone who wants to know they will stand by their work.

I had an issue last year with one of their service guys saying that the problem was with my board getting power and I needed an electrician. My electrician came out to find no issue with the power. The owner got on the phone with me to apologize and personally went out on a Saturday to install the new board. Just had an issue today with the compressor freezing and they came out this afternoon to repair. I do recommend them to friends when they have an issue and I will continue to use them when needed.

That service very helpful answered all questions

The guy came out and did absolutely nothing. The next day the AC was leaking right through the ceiling. Which now we have some water damage and they charged us $136.00
We hired someone else who came out and fixed the problem. Which was, the line was clogged .
DEFINITELY DO NOT GET THEM THEY ARE TERRIBLE

I wish I could give less than 1 star...these low-class nonprofessionals have the nerve to threaten an elderly woman. Really?! Sit outside her house yelling her business out for all the neighbors to hear. I was ALWAYS taught to treat people the way you would want to be treated. I guess you must not have ANY home training.
You're there to do a job, which is heat/air conditioning. Unless this is an undercover sting operation stick to you what you know best. It’s none of your business what goes on in peoples houses unless it has to do with their heat or air conditioning. What are you a “wanna-be cop” or something? I wonder if I came to your office or checked your credentials if this business is so squeaky clean. It’s funny because when you antagonize and threaten someone; you never know who they know. If the owner reads this, and I hope he/she does, I’d keep this pip squeak as a shop guy. He’s gonna get you in some trouble one day. And if he’s family; then you got problems.
