This is one great company. I recently had my outside a/c unit failed. I called them on a Friday before Labor Day weekend around 3:00 pm and they had someone out before 5:00 pm to check it out. He was able to find the problem and gave me three options. On Tuesday I let them know which option I wanted and by Wednesday afternoon my new unit was in place and working. The team was quick, efficient and professional. I’ve used this company for over 15 years, and they are the best.
BC Express and their technician Savas, saved us again in this sweltering heat wave with their excellent service. Sadly we purchased a new HVAC system from another company because we didn’t know about BC Express at the time and have had nothing but trouble. The OTHER COMPANY told us they could come repair our AC in 5 to 7 days earlier in the month when we called - BC was there in a couple of hours twice in one month and diagnosed and fixed the problem both times. Thankfully we were able to get our service contract with them. They are by far the best, most reliable HVAC company around from the office staff to their technicians. Thank you BC Express!
Called them and got a prompt reply. Was told that I would be called in the morning to schedule repair. Stayed home from work and I finally called late in the afternoon to see what was going on. They didn't even ask my name, said no one would tell me that, AND they couldn't come for 8 days. SO we sit in the heat for nothing. An honest response would have been more professional; if you are too busy, so be it. Just say so. I was planning to have them quote an entire new system but how can I do that now? I called BC Express on Monday and they came today to service our AC, was worried that it was going to have to be replaced but alas a new filter and service was all it needed, they were prompt friendly and knowledgeable. This is the second house we have used them in,, always professional and very honest, what more could you ask for
They were phenomenal. I had another local company come out and he had no clue what the problem was ad told me they would have to call Carrier and that they would charge me an hourly rate while on the phone. Savas came out and figured the problem out in under 15 minutes and all I was charged was a service call. I would highly recommend the company and especially the technician!!!
It was a mistake to purchase our heating and AC systems from BC Express. There were numerous service calls for the same issues. When the service rep couldn't figure out the latest problem, we asked for a different rep to give it a fresh look. BC sent the same rep back anyway. We no longer will use BC Express. The service manager was rude and owner was of no help.
I purchased a new Carrier 3.5 ton unit from BC Express back in 2007. I have had a few issues with the unit where more Freon needed to be added. This year however, the unit was completely depleted of "R-22" Freon. I called BC Express to schedule a service visit. They were unable to send someone out to me for a week and a half UNLESS I wanted to pay extra for an "Emergency Call". Given my wife's asthma (making leaving windows open not a viable option), I paid the $150 to have a tech come out. The tech told me there was a leak at the coil (located in the outdoor condenser unit. He said it was not possible to repair and said I could either replace the coil (approx. $2,200) or replace entire condenser (approx. $3,500). I was told that the compressor was still under factory warranty but the coil is not. I called and spoke to the owner of BC Express about it being a unit that is only about 7 years old (and purchased from them) but he was unable to make any concessions.
I ended up, referred by a friend, calling Beach Mechanical. What a professional operation they are! They came out to look at the unit (free of charge, unlike the $150 "emergency call" from BC Express) and confirmed the leak from the coil. However, they REPAIRED the leak, and warrantied the job, for a FRACTION of the cost!!!! I am very disappointed with BC Express as having purchased the unit from them, as well as sending them numerous referrals over the years, that they were unable and or unwilling to do a repair that was quick and easy for Hutch from Beach Mechanical. Seems like all BC Express is interested or capable of doing is selling and installing new units instead of even trying to make repairs. It has been a week since my unit was repaired and it is working like it is a new unit!
