This review is long overdue. Our family moved into an 80+yr old home in NJ 2 years ago and we have worked with the Wooley team on numerous projects during that time. It all started with a visit from Art to do some maintenance on our original HVAC (which was aging and a bit neglected by the previous owners). Art got our system working again but it was clear that due to age and neglect that we would be facing repetitive repairs or in need of a new system in the coming year. I met with Kevin (Wooley's Svc manager) and he performed a manual J on our home and provided us with a few different options at various price points which would make our home more comfortable, reliable, and energy efficient. Kevin even made some excellent recommendations pre-covid to improve the air quality in our home and help with our family's allergies and asthma through the use of a Reme Halo and Aprilaire Merv 416 filter (which have have made a noticeable difference). As first time home owners my wife and I met with a few other reputable installers in our area but ultimately it was our family's experience with Kevin and Art and their thorough explanations of the issues that we were facing that made us most comfortable choosing Wooley for the installation and maintenance of an entire new HVAC system in our home. After our installation we chose Wooley for several other jobs, including 2 new battery back up sump pump systems, a new hot water heater, a whole house water filtration system and numerous duct repairs and general plumbing issues.

Over the last 2 years we have worked with Art, Ed, Kevin, Joe, Nick and several other members of the Wooley team and on all occasions it has been a great experience (even if our 80 year old home has often thrown us/them curveballs and added challenges to the projects along the way). The Wooley team has always pulled together and figured out a way to get the jobs done right and they have always been fair, transparent, and honest in all of our dealings.

Our most recent experience is a testament to Wooley's commitment to their customers. About 3 weeks ago (Mid July) our 18 month old AC condenser stopped working. Art worked through a blistering hot day to diagnose the problem (a failed compressor). Once it became clear that due to supply chain challenges, the part would be unavailable for several weeks, Kevin was quick to send over 2 portable air conditioners to help our family to deal with the heat as we waited. Kevin was transparent and diligent about keeping me posted as to when the replacement part might arrive. As soon as we had a window of a few days when the part would arrive (which coincided with a 3 day heat wave of 97-99 degrees), Ed, Joe, and Nick were at our home working to prepare everything ahead of time for the arrival and installation of this part. All of this was being done as the weather remained in the high 90 degree area. The team got the part in and was quick to help us get our home cool again.

I wish I could provide more than 5 stars, the Wooley team is truly dedicated to their customers and our most recent experience has solidified our already high opinion of them.

Never stop sending Craig M. to us. While I'm sure you have other very competent service people, it was a pleasure dealing with Craig. For one thing, I didn't get scolded for not refreshing the water enough, but he did show me signs of future trouble to keep in mind and gave me some simplified maintenance tips. My boiler had a problem that needed repair. He didn't over-explain the problem, but did demonstrate it to me in a way that I knew he was telling the truth and that it had to be fixed. From there, he did the repair work quickly and efficiently, moved on to the maintenance work in the same way, and all the time very pleasant and professional to deal with. I was anxious, at first, having an oil heater in the house, but Woolly Home delivers consistent and complete service. It's clear my house is not just a piggy bank to them, where they drop in oil and extract my money. They make it their business to ensure that the system is always, and above all, safe and well maintained. They have taken all the worry out of it for me.

Today was the first time we've worked with Woolley and I was extremely impressed with Art D. and Chris J. They arrived on time and worked efficiently performing winter service on our multiple Heating units. They were extremely professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and respectful. We will definitely be working with Woolley on future projects, and greatly appreciate their help.

2021 Update: Craig helped us again this year–we love being with Woolley!

We have been with Woolley for over 3 years now. Each year we have our furnace serviced and cleaned, we buy all of our fuel through the automatic delivery, and we have had service calls. I just want to give a shout out to Craig M. in particular for being a wonderful representative of the entire company–he came this year to do our yearly maintenance and could not have been nicer.

Woolley Fuel is a great company...very friendly and knowledgeable service. Joe F serviced our boiler this year and probably saved us a lot of future hassle by noticing that our plumbing was corroding, and we were on the verge of a big mess! He was very respectful, asking if he could play his music while he worked.

David, Ed, and Joe are experts at what they do. They went above and beyond to install our new furnace and left our home cleaner than they found it. They also followed up with the office and made sure everything was in working order before they left. They also took the time to walk through proper maintenance to prevent any issues in the future.

Always professional and responsive to any needs of our heating system. Ed knows his stuff!
