Sorry for long post....bottom line, you only realize how good or bad the service provider is when things go wrong.
I hired them to replace my HVAC system, everything went kinda smooth until actual installation. I communicated with Fallon throughout the process and she is excellent. Walter was the installer. I have a Nest thermostat and Aprilaire Humidifier, but the humidifier is not connect to Nest. So I asked Walter to connect it as he was doing fresh installation. First he said he doesn't know, I called the office and Fallon said Walter is saying its additional work so it will cost me $250, so I dropped it. Then when they finished the installation, I went to check and Humidifier was not working, he forgot to connect.... My AC was not cooling well, It was taking 30-45 mins to cool down by 1 degree, we reduce temp to 66 at night and by morning it is still struggling to catch up. So I called them and Fallon acknowledged its an issue, Walter came back to check next day. Even before entering he goes 'nothing wrong with your system, its expected, all I can do is increase fan speed'. I called Fallon again, then he checked everything and goes again 'I have been doing this for 20 years, nobody drops temp to 66' I called Fallon again and she connected with Mario, he says the same thing 'I have been doing it for 30 yrs nobody drops it to 66, you will never get it'. Then when I said my old AC was doing it easily he goes 'its same system/I didn't design your duct/call Trane/I have wasted enough time on this call' then I sent my thermostat photo to Fallon asking If its normal, response comes 'Mario thinks your AC is doing better than expected because outside feels like 95'
well....there was nothing I could do, I thought maybe I was wrong and this is really normal. then 2 days later I heard banging noise and went to check.....these guys left the Humidifier on, filter was full of water, AC was trying to cool but added Humidity was straining it' I switched it off, and AC started performing much better.
They come when they say that they’re coming for a start The technician explained what was causing the problems and took care of it. I appreciate this kind of service, and I will be using it again whenever I have HVAC problems.
Excellent service. Efficient , thorough. Kevin explained what was done and what should be done in the future. Definitely recommend Air Temp if in the market for a central AC unit
