    Mike Hagerty was top notch. He, Mike, and Maria came in, did a wonderful job, and left the place in better shape than I could have imagined. I was certain they were going to have to tear through a bunch of drywall to get to these really tight spaces, but they managed to wiggle pipes and tubes through while protecting it all and leaving my home and drywall spotless and whole. Thank you!

    Main sewer line broke; needed to be dug up and replaced. Called Hutchinson and they dispatched someone quickly; the same person who ended up completing the work. Even willing to negotiate on the price. Michael Monaco was great. When he first came out, he was very willing to answer all my questions and explain how it was going to be fixed. Day of went smoothly with Michael and two guys to dig/ remove a bush over the pipe. All the pipes both inside and outside were replaced; he even fixed another issue found while he was here. After they were done, he explained what they did and showed where all the line run. Would definitely recommend!

    I was so please with the immediate response and profesional orientation and options presented by Mr. Rich Wilson. Beside all the above goes the clean service and answering to all question formulated.

    Hutchinson could be a bit pricey company but their service was excellent.

    I would recommend them base in the labor done to get de issue with the water heater. The equipment ínstales meet the new energy saving standards.

    Mixed reviews here - some techs are more helpful than others. Had leaks and uninsulated lines while under warranty that were eventually resolved. Unsure why they existed in the first place though. Also had a more compatible thermostat installed under warranty to match our Carrier units. Disappointed that when I signed up for warranty maintenance, I was told they would come out 2x/year for maintenance without me needing to schedule. But when spring months passed by without an AC tuneup, I called to see what the deal was. Turns out I was supposed to call to schedule, and they are now 2 months out on maintenance visits, which is mid-July. So much for being preventive. Waste of $150. Also, I complained several times about lack of airflow upstairs, and after several tech visits, only one seemed to make a difference.

    Tech was scheduled to arrive on a Saturday but did not show. Called Sunday and demanded service because a leak occurred and impacted the condo below me. A new goose neck and kitchen sink pipe, new water controller in bathroom cost me $1664.00 for about 2 hours work. No prior estimates were given he just did the work and wrote up the bill. Technician was very nice but the cost was through the roof. I will never use or recommend them again. The customer is a 79 year old woman and no senior discount was offered or applied. Goodbye forever.

    Do not use this company. They do not stand behind their HVAC system even when the problem started when the system was under warranty. Multiple repairs for same problem, now tech says I need to purchase a new system, this one is not under warranty. Tried calling customer service. Was told I needed to wait 12 business hours for call back. Waited, called back after 14 hours and have only been able to speak to operators who say they will send an email to customer relations. 3rd person I spoke to today says she doesn't see any prior emails sent. But I should trust her that she is sending an email to the right person and now I need to wait another 12 hours. HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE. Do yourself a favor and stay away, avoid the frustration and waste of $$ unless you want to buy a new HVAC system every 8-10 years.

    Hutchinson employees uses false information which are intended to mislead their customers.

    Specifically:

    1. The AC repair person provided false information to increase the repair cost in order to induce their customer to purchase a new AC system rather than repairing the old one. The reason I know is because I asked for a second opinion from a different AC contractor the next day and the repair person told me there was nothing wrong with the "capacitor" which Hutchinson wanted to charge me $507.

    2. The Hutchinson sales person attempted to provide false information in order to induce me to sign the contract and deliver the new AC system without the 3 days waiting period which is the law in New Jersey to allow purchasers to cancel the contract within 3 days.

    Base on the above experiences, I concluded Hutchinson is a company that uses unethical practices to conduct business, very unprofessional. Therefore I do not recommend Hutchinson.

    I typically don’t like to leave reviews when I’ve had a negative experience. Instead I try to work with the company to get it resolved. Unfortunately, after more than five calls to this company over the course of one month with a promise for assistance and zero action, I am left with no choice.

    I originally reached out to this company to assist me with assessing my HVAC system after an extremely high bill in December – this was my first month in my new home using heat. The gentleman who came out was extremely kind and professional, and stated that he would need a senior technician to join him as he believed there was a wiring issue. The company scheduled the return appointment very quickly, and the two technicians, including the original, came back. While they were there, I asked them to install a Nest thermostat I’d bought several months prior. After attempting, the senior technician said that there was something potentially faulty about the thermostat as it was not working correctly, and advised that I send it back to Nest.

    When I attempted to send it back for a replacement, Nest required a description of what the technician experienced from the visit to process. On the invoice from Hutchinson all it said was wire repair, so I reached out to Hutchinson to ask for a slightly more detailed description with three or so sentences on what the tech believed the issues were specific to the Nest thermostat.

    At this point, I have called five times since the beginning of January and been promised specifically by dispatch for assistance. I have heard nothing back. So not only did the appointments combined cost me $500, which I didn’t mind as the main issue was resolved, but now I cannot receive a new Nest unit because I don’t have what they require to replace it from the technician and I’m out an additional $300. I am not happy.

    Up until the lack of responsiveness, I would’ve absolutely used this company again, but it’s clear that they just wanted my money for the service and now that it’s some thing that will not result in additional revenue for them, they don’t care. Super disappointing.

    Don’t purchase a unit. My new unit has been nothing but issue after issue and seems to be their cash cow. My unit is just over 2 years old. In that 2 years the blower motor has gone bad that was brand new, fuel pump needs to replaced, nozzles are no good and don’t get me started on the new unit install disaster. You would think the company would realize there is something wrong, but no. They just hit you with an outrageous quote and finance options. Would not recommend. The techs are great though. Most are very knowledgeable. Again, don’t get me started on the rest.

    These guys were awesome, repaired pipes that were frozen on Xmas day, came out and diagnosed everything , got in tight space to prevent me from replacing tile in bathroom. Thx again!!
