A-1 Mechanical & Electric

Once the temperature reached over 100 our AC went out. It was one of those "Oh NO!" moments. I was glad they were able to come out same day and arrived at 6pm and stayed until all systems checks had been made and we understood what to do and what to look for if it happened again. Basically - our air filters were pretty full (even though we change them 4x a year) and the coolant wasn't able to work. We had to turn the AC off for a few hours so the lines could defrost and work again. It was warm for 4 hours - but then it worked again!

The tech advised we changed our filters every month in the summer - who knew!? It's so dusty and windy here, it can really clog things up. They checked back in with us the next day to make sure everything was working correctly. Was very glad and appreciative it was a fix and not a unit replacement. Thanks A-1 and especially to Doug for explaining everything in terms we could understand.

Atrocious. Charged us for multiple visits and never solved the problem or completed the work we paid for. I would not recommend A-1 to fix a birdhouse.

This review is long overdue! A1 Electric came out to my home a few months ago to install 2 additional electric outlets, so I could plug in a portable A/C unit in my garage. I got several quotes from other companies and A1 Electric by far had the best price and very reasonable! I spoke with Daniel several times and he was quick to respond and very professional and service oriented. The electrician Patricio that came out did a great job and was very polite and accomodating. They also did the same work for us a few years ago at our last house. Overall I'm very pleased and highly recommend A1 Electric!

I called them just before closing thinking my refrigerator had a freon leak.
James sent a technician out within an hour!
This employee (Archi) was not only knowledgeable, but went over and above to make sure I was safe.
He checked for gas leaks inside and out to make sure I was safe.
I not only plan on using them again for a different issue, but I highly recommend them!

Highly highly Recommend!!!! I would give them more stars if i could. This pace is great. Very honest, prompt and professional. They came out quick and fixed my unit and got me back up and being cool. The lady in the office was very helpful and polite and knowledgeable. The repair was painless and much more affordable then others I called. My air conditioner stopped working on a 100 plus degree day with very high humidity. I called A-1 Mechanical and scheduled an appointment for a repair technician. The technician guy (William Grogins) he showed up on time and immediately diagnose the problem. He put together a quote to replace the fan motor and start capacitor and once I agreed his runner brought the new parts to my business while the technician was removing the old parts. The repair was done quickly and efficiently and everything works great. He did great job! 😄

A-1 has been great to deal with. They always have a technician out quickly when we have an issue. Ramon is the best technician. He is great at giving us all the options for work that needs to be done and getting our a/c system working.

We just had a new HVAC system installed by a1. Brennan and Nick were amazing, professional, giving us the best pricing and warranty out of three top companies in our city. They showed up early, worked through the day, and finished installing by mid afternoon. We are now enjoying nice cool refreshing air . Thanks so much to all of them. We HIGHLY recommend A1 Mechanical.
