We had lost our heat during the coldest week before Christmas. They came out to see if could be fixed. It couldn’t they were very quick about getting us an estimate and new system installed in 2 days. While we waited they offered us space heaters.

Working with Star City was a great experience from start to finish. They were extremely thorough and detailed when quoting the job and the installation team was fantastic. Highly recommended!

What impressed me the most about Star City was their approach to customer service. From the very first call to schedule a time for a salesman to come out to give us a quote all the way through the installation and the follow up afterwards, each employee had a way of making it seem as if we were the only customers they had to take care of.

Daniel, our sales representative, went well beyond our expectations in terms of not only his personable kindness, but his willingness to take our requests and provide us with every piece of information we could have possibly needed to make the best informed decision on a major purchase such as this. Daniel stayed at our home while he worked on the quotes we asked for so we didn’t have to wait for them to come in our email in a few hours or a day or two.

I’d like to point out that I called on a Saturday afternoon knowing that our air conditioner was in poor condition and we needed a replacement. To be completely transparent, we already had a quote from another local company, but wanted to compare with another company (Star City being our second quote). We knew immediately after seeing the quotes that we were going to choose Star City because of the quality brands they install, price, and most importantly the level of commitment they are willing to go to ensure we were going to be completely satisfied with the products and services we chose.

On the day of installation Surgi and Franklin were our primary technicians and both were extremely friendly and competent in their craft. We requested to add a new heat run installed in a room that previously did not have one. This was a challenge due to space and location, but Surgi was able to troubleshoot the challenges and get the job done in a manner that exceeded our expectations. Additionally, because we have an older home there were some unforeseen challenges and things that needed to be changed due to changes in building code, but Franklin heard our concerns and ensured that he did not alter our home (cut a hole in our basement ceiling to run the electric wire) while properly installing the heat pump within proper building codes. Surgi and Franklin went the extra mile providing the finishing touches on the installation which looks beyond professional. When they were complete they provided an incredible overview of the services they provided and answered all of questions that we had in a way that we were able to understand.

To me this speaks volumes of not only Daniel, Surgi, and Franklin, but Star City as a company. They have great employees that are excellent at their professions! We will be a lifelong customers because of this experience!

Our furnace died in the spring, and as the weather started getting colder we decided to take the plunge and get a replacement. We got three estimates, but in the end had the best experience with Star City. Amy walked us through every step of the process and even provided some advice on financing options, and was just great to work with. We put half down and scheduled the appointment, and they were able to work us in very quickly.

The installers, Rick and Lance, showed up promptly at 8 a.m. on the scheduled day, and when they left we had a working furnace and AC. They were respectful, efficient, and friendly. They hauled off the old units and did a very good job of cleaning up after themselves. They walked us through using the new equipment, and made sure all of our questions were answered. The equipment seems to be good quality, and everything looks perfect.

After the sale, Amy came back and walked us through getting a rebate from Black Hills Energy, which was a huge help.

Top notch, professional service all around. Everyone really impressed my wife and I. I wouldn’t hesitate to work with Star City again.

Dan was very responsive and very thorough in his evaluation and estimation of our project. Sergei and Franklin did an excellent job installing the new air conditioner. Star city was very prompt and efficient to work with.

Jeremy did a great job and helped us get our AC working before it gets those dreaded humidity summer temps.

The entire process was very smooth from initial consultation to final install.

We have had Star City out on a couple of different occasions. The most recent was Abe and he was very professional and thorough. He knew the system well and made sure we were also educated on all aspects of the system to help us make the best decisions.
