Jim did a fantastic job! He was on time even on a Sunday!! My AC stopped working and not one other company could would be able to get to me. But, Jim did!! He was excellent and repaired my AC and cleaned my AC unit. Thanks Jim! I appreciate your hard work and dedication to helping people.

During the record high heat on June 13, 2022, our a/c went out. The Fred's servicer on call came to our house at 9 pm and fixed our unit and we were up and running by 10 pm. We were grateful that they had the parts on the truck and were so responsive. Thank you Fred's team - GREAT JOB

Called at 7:30AM and Fred's had my system up and running before noon on what turned out to become a 99F day. And for a reasonable price.
Knowledgable technician had the issue diagnosed within the first few minutes. And none of the usual sales pitches about needing to replace our old HVAC system.
I know who I will be calling when we decide to upgrade to something more efficient. Thanks!

I called on Saturday to schedule an appointment for assistance with installing a Nest thermostat. They were able to fit me in 3 days later on Tuesday which was great. I advised the person over the phone that it was a Nest Gen 3 thermostat that I needed assistance with and she stated they charge $120 per hour plus any additional materials that may be needed once on site, which was also fine and sounded reasonable.

Fast forward to Tuesday and within 5 minutes of being here, the nice gentleman informed me that Nest thermostats don't support 3 stage heating systems. While he was in his van charging my card for $120, I quickly located Nest's Pro Installer instructions online where they clearly detail out exactly how to install the thermostat on a 3 stage heat pump with emergency/auxiliary heating + 2 stage cooling system within just a couple minutes. I asked the gentleman about this when he returned to the house with my credit card and he suggested I call another HVAC company that specializes in Nest thermostats. I completely understand needing to be paid for work performed, even if it wasn't the desired outcome, but this complete waste of money could've been avoided had the person that scheduled the appointment just told me up front that they don't know how to install Nest thermostats.

Having used Fred's for several other services, I thought I would've gotten better service than this. I wouldn't have minded calling another company had I known up front that it was going to cost me $120 just to be told that they don't know how to install Nest thermostats. The fact that an inexperienced person such as myself was able to find clear instructions and do the work myself within about 30 minutes should tell you that you should just stick to core HVAC system work if you're going to use this company as it appears anything other than the most basic thermostats are not their forte (which is OK, but just tell people this before scheduling an appointment and charging them $120).

Service tap was very professional and started in one area and was able to walk us through our entire house to show areas that we can improve on efficiencies and why RAC was not working. He took the time to explain versus just try to run off to his next appointment I would recommend these individuals for the company to anyone. And would also do a commentary response if needed for advertising

Fred's Heating and Air is a top notch company with very knowledgeable and qualified service technicians and sales employees. After being told by a competitor company I needed to repair two parts in my furnace or replace the furnace due to its age, I called three companies to come for estimates for replacements. Fred's Heating and Air sent Melissa, a very knowledgeable sales rep, who explained how the different parts of the furnace work & the most important features of purchasing a new one. Fortunately, their company offers a free second opinion from a service technician if you have a quote for repairs from another company. Dan was the best service technician I have had at my home over the years. He demonstrated, explained and educated me on the normal range of meter readings all the while checking the components of my furnace. He determined I did not need to replace the parts the first company told me that I needed to replace. He told me my furnace was at a gold star level for the age of it. I will be definitely switching my maintenance plan to Fred's Heating and Air as well as keeping them on board when the time comes for a replacement. Top quality company!!!! Highly recommend them for sales and service!

So far we are very pleased with Fred’s Heating and Air. They showed up on time, did a good job with the installation and even found a gas leak in my furnace that they fixed without additional cost (I forgot to tell them that we smelled gas ever so often and they found that leak on their own). I also really like their policy of not taking any payment up front. Payment is due one month after installation making sure the new system is working perfectly. No pressure (they did not tell us ten times that we had a massive freon leak in our old system like the “T” company did) and they put a better rated system in for $2,000 less.
I would recommend Fred’s Heating and Air to anyone. Good folks!!!
