We have a had great experiences with ACT Heating and Cooling. Within the last year, they have installed a garage heater for us and replaced our heater and air conditioner. They were always on time, professional, friendly, and clean. We would definitely recommend them.

I bought a property that had an installed Act heating unit not very old. The furnance works fine then quits. I called to see if someone from Act could come look it. I was told that they no longer service my area and it would be a 200.00 per hour charge from the time they left the shop until return. So because they chose to serve my area in the recent past but now no longer I can only get service on their own product if i am financially taken advantage of. Not cool. I could understand if I was asking for new service but not what would thought of as a grandfathered case. Plus the furnace carried a 10 year warranty on replacement parts but now how do i get the warranty honored if it is something with the parts.

Leaving feedback for everyone to know about ACT Heating & Cooling. Our 20 year old furnace died last Saturday. Called all over town for parts,this was on Monday, every HVAC company out there said basically the same thing.. Good Luck finding them for the model we had.
Out of the the numerous HVAC companies I called for estimates, ACT not only came in at the most reasonable price point for a new 96% efficient furnace. Explained and answered every question I had.. Even offered to supply space heaters.. The installer.. Drew (can't remember his helpers name) were absolutely professional and he answered additional questions without hesitation. The install took just about all day which was understandable. Brandon, the sales guy was also very knowledgeable, courtious and patient. He Explained in depth the tax information and the rebates offered from MDU. He gave me every option I had available.. Even wanting to at least try to source for parts for the old furnace. He wasn't a pushy sales guy.. Heat was turned back on last night. I really appreciate the entire process..!

ACT was wonderful to deal with. The installers were kind and efficient. My house was left cleaner than they found it and I'm so happy with the HE furnace.

Made a deal with the owner of this business and apparently all he cares about is his wallet and himself. Very unprofessional and hid behind his elderly secretary to pass blame for his choices. if your looking for someone that is non trustworthy and only cares about himself and non local Billings people look no further than this man

I called from work as my heater went out and was able to get a technician the same afternoon. Phone service was extremely friendly and they came as promised and quickly found the solution and fixed it.
Thank you ACT heating! Will call from now on.

Had a furnace service done. Evan was very quick, professional, and friendly. He gave some options for future me to think about, but was in no way pushy or anything like that.
I would recommend these folks.
