As a first time homebuyer, I was a nervous wreck when I woke up to find my AC unit not working properly. Thanks to a family friend, I was referred to Hoffman Brothers and Kevin Gobble was able to make it to my house within less than 2 hours! Kevin was not only very professional but also honest, kind, and laid out all my options. Explained in detail about what exactly was going on so I could better prepare for/prevent future issues. He even taught me the correct way to clean off my AC vent! Hoffman Brothers will be my go to repair company from now own. :)

Josiah from Hoffmann Brothers arrived on time. He is courteous and respectful. He explained my options well. He pulled an old broken sump pump, cleaned out the space, and installed a new sump pump. He also improved the pipe set up to the sump pump. I was impressed with the quality of work he did so quickly.

Josiah was absolutely wonderful! He replaced a faucet for us and fixed a leak under our toilet. He was very thorough, communicative and professional. Highly recommend!

These guys are seriously the best! I have a Samsung Flex-Duo gas range that, unfortunately will need replacing due to the manufacturer not making a specific part anymore. But the quality of consideration, honesty and integrity that the employees of Hoffman Bros exhibit is exemplary! Jeff H. took the time to diagnose and fix a problem. Unfortunately for me, that was only one problem and although he had to return later for a separate problem, he was thorough and was able to provide me with options for a new oven, offer installation services should I decide to purchase an oven elsewhere, and was 100% honest with me to aid in my decision making. I could not suggest a more positive company with a better group of employees for your appliance repair needs. Truly a wonderful experience!

Hoffmann Bros. customer contact automation has improved since we became members well over a decade ago: I was able to schedule online, picking the specific day. It would be nice to be able to enter notes like "park across from garage" and "not first appointment of the day" (they start much earlier in the day than we do!). We received an email confirmation that we scheduled maintenance, but it did not list the date so I had to call in to be reminded (ADD brain). It would be awesome to list the specifics on the email, and a link to add it to our calendar would be even better! We received a call when the tech was available and then a text that they were on their way. 4 stars

Rick was very nice, well presented and knowledgeable.
He arrived without the replacement air filter so we were delayed till he could go back to the warehouse to get one.
I informed him that my outdoor thermostat reading was incorrect and was informed that my new $7000 heat pump didn’t have an outdoor temperature reader so even though the thermostat has it on the display screen it is not correct.. Rick told me we could add one at my expense -$500?
I’d like to hear that he would look into it and see what my options are other than being told I don’t really need it .
When he left the thermostat was left in the cooling mode and not turned back to the heating mode (it is currently 44 degrees) .
I’m finding Hoffman has knowledgeable people but in the last few years the service has gotten worse and worse -trying to do too much ??
Also, as new equipment is installed it should all be done correctly (I heard from one of my Hoffman installers that the previous equipment was installed incorrectly by Hoffman ) was told today that the UV light is old school and an air
Scrubber would be better.
This unit is new from last summer and I would expect much, much more for what this is costing me
