5 Stars for G&H Heating! Michael installed a new furnace at my house last winter as mine went out in the middle of the night. He was able to come right out that next morning and install for me. He was also very reasonably priced. He also came over recently to replace a warranty part and was very honest and cut me a deal. If you are looking for a new furnace or any HVAC needs, I would 100% recommend him. I'll certainly be using him for any future HVAC issues that may arise. Thanks Michael!

I have used Mike for years and simply trust him with every facet of my heating and cooling needs. The main thing is that I know I can trust what Mike says I need to have repaired. Too often there are those companies that say you need more than you actually need and because I have used G & H so long now i know i don't ever have to worry about that.

My 28 year old furnace died the week after New Years when the high temp for the week was about 5 degrees during the day and minus 15 at night. I discovered the failure at 4:00 PM on Wednesday. I called Michael right away to see what could be done. After doing some checking for availability, he called back within the hour with two options: one to repair the existing furnace or two, to replace it with a new American Standard. He stated either solution could be implemented the next day. I chose to go with the new device. To get me through the night in such cold weather, Michael made a special trip to a home supply store and purchased four small portable heaters, which he brought to my house and rigged them up so they could provide heat to my existing furnace blower. This arrangement allowed the ambient temp inside my house at 60 degrees throughout the very cold night!
The next AM, Michael came over with the new furnace and began tear out of the old furnace and installation of the new unit. He worked through lunch and brought another geat guy in, Ken, to complete the sheet metal work. At 3:30 PM on Thursday, Michael fired up the new unit, which came on line perfectly and started to provide heat. Within the hour, my house was a nice toasty 70 degrees once again. Michael's quick response and willingness to go the extra mile got me back up and running less than 24 hours after a complete failure of my old furnace, and at a very fair price to boot!! Truly stellar service from a very concientious professional! I heartily recommend calling Michael at G&H Heating and Cooling for any service or replacement needed, as I will certainly do in the future.

Mike is so great! Bought a Nest thermostat not sure if it would work with my old home and boiler. I had a big company come out and give me an estimate but also said they didn’t think it would work and wanted me to pay for an electrician come out first. Mike came, spent the time, and figured it out for a third of the price! Great guy, very experienced, and totally reasonable!

Called Michael at 5pm, he was out the next morning and had our intermittent furnace issue fixed by mid morning. Quick diagnosis and replaced the circuit board for a reasonable price. Very nice, competent and trustworthy.

Highly recommend G&H! The pricing can't be beat - and Michael the owner is a total professional with the knowledge and expertise. It's always great to support a family-owned business that takes so much pride in the work they do.

Quoted me $90 to check out furnace. Then when was he was done, added $20+ because he put new batteries in the thermostat. Will not be using them again. Charges should be explicit before work is done. I was not aware of a "no heat situation" charge.

Late Friday PM, 15 degrees and a semi blizzard outside. Got home and no heat. Called Michael and he came to the west side from St. Paul and we had heat going by 6:15. Unbelievable service and very, very fair pricing.
