A/C (and furnace and fan) stopped working. Came out to our house, determined it was a broken switch, fixed it quickly, and did basic maintenance. Everything went smoothly.

The person in the office. I believe her name was Crystal ( forgive me if it isn't) was very knowledgable, professional and helpful. They gave me an estimate right away. The next day came to measure and 2 days later they installed a new a/c unit. The techs that came to my house were very personable and professional. They did an excellent job. I own a business and my landlord always uses tech iv for his hvac needs. They didn't disappoint.

Poor pool heater repair service. Tech's are lazy (my opinion). Will just recommend you buy a new one. Been using them for years, but something has changed for the worse. Find someone who wants the work. Spoke to owner. Very arrogant and unresponsive.

JUST SAY NO! My husband purchased an Ecobee4 Smart Thermostat in February 2019. He called Tech IV and proceeded to explain the type of thermostat we bought and we needed a professional to come and install it for us. Never was it explained to him that they did not sell or work with Ecobees and that they were not familiar with this brand. He was told they could come out and do the installation, which would run about $100. Two "technicians" came out at the agreed upon time, but looking tired and hungover. One of the men, after walking inside, went back out and just sat in their vehicle. It was quickly obvious that the other man did not know how to install the thermostat as he stood at the counter reading the installation manual. 2 hours later the thermostat was installed and a bill was presented for $250. My husband paid $260 cash, the tech didn't have change so they ended up with a small tip. There seemed to be no issues with the thermostat or furnace. Now that MI summer is here and we need to run the ac, we knew there was a problem. The fan was continuously running without the relief of cool air. After checking the ac unit and realizing it wasn't running, he gave Tech IV a call. The man who answered the phone wanted to know what the thermostat was displaying. We told him it was an Ecobee and he quickly interrupted and said they didn't know anything about those and don't sell them. We asked why they came out to do the installation and charged us $260 if they don't work with Ecobees? He yelled at us asking why did we buy an Ecobee?! He also told us he was not the one who installed it. How would he even know, when he failed to ask our name or when we had the work done? He proceeded to get aggravated and continued raising his voice. My husband said he would be calling another company to get this problem fixed all because we weren't informed that your company didn't work with Ecobees.

A different Heating & Cooling company came out and found that a wire was not hooked up properly by Tech IV. $137 for this quick visit.

$397, in tech visits, later the thermostat is finally working probably.

I have used Bob and Tech IV heating and cooling for many years. I own an air duct cleaning company and Tech IV gets all our work. They have taken great care of me, my family, and my customers. 5 stars in my book.

these guys are unbelievably bad... call them in to quote out how much top repair an A/C unit. the guy shows up, spends ten minute fixes it then writes up NO Charge on my paper work. I couldn't believe it. Bickered with him that he needed to get paid, he said issue was so minor not to worry about it. 2 months later I get billed $341.00 for a repair and get threatened with lawsuit. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!!!!
