I had a great experience last year when I had them out to clean and inspect my boiler, so I don’t understand what happened this year. I had an appointment scheduled for this past Saturday (scheduled in advance a few weeks ago) for the annual boiler cleaning and inspection and was told someone would be here before noon. I was home all day and no one ever showed up. I called and texted shortly after noon to follow up and see if there was an update on the time but no one ever responded. I realize mistakes happen, so I called again on Monday morning to follow up. I spoke with someone who said they would check with the technician and call me back. Again, there has been no response. Please don’t tell me you’ll call if you don’t intend to follow through, and if you aren’t able to keep the appointment or are not interested in the job, at least have the courtesy to let me know. Not only did I turn down other plans for Saturday to spend my whole day home waiting, but now I am trying to locate another company to come out and most of them are already booked for the next several weeks.
They were able to go out and service my boiler when it stop working and it was extremely cold out. However I was suppose to get a call from the service technician to inform me of the problem and cost instead I received an email of a whooping repair bill $810.
On short notice they came out and got my boiler back in action, pointed out possible future issues with it and how knowledgeable they are about how to maintain and work with them. Was there when they said they'd be there. Got it done quickly. Would recommend for anybody needing HVAC services.
Diagnosed the problem with and troubleshot a new board for a somewhat old forced-air furnace as well more recently. Service people they have with them were very helpful knowledgeable and courteous.
Justin and James were very personable and professional. They systematically discovered what had malfunctioned with my air conditioning. And promptly fixed the problem in about 20 mins. Very knowledgeable and trustworthy guys. I will definitely hire this company again.
They are great. Very personable caring absolutely concerned about safety in following CDC guidelines during this pandemic. Helpful and educating homeowner about the new heating system that I bought with my new home. I bought a home with base board heaters.

Last Thursday the carbon monoxide detector in my home alerted me to the presence of carbon monoxide. After the fire department and DTE visited, it was determined that it was coming from my (admittedly ancient) boiler. The next day, I was able to have three different boiler companies come out to give me a quote, Winslow being one of them. I was impressed by how thorough and detailed Justin's quote was, the various options he presented to me, and how well he answered all my questions.
I ended up going with Winslow and they started demolition on my old EXTREMELY heavy boiler the very next day. Justin and James came back on Monday to complete my installation and get my heat back on. They did a fantastic job, continually offered to answer any questions, explained how my new boiler worked, and honestly cleaned up their work area to the point that it's cleaner than it was before! I am very satisfied with the services I receives from Winslow and I know I'll be contacting them in future winters to receive my annual boiler inspection and clean out.
Good local guys. They replaced a furnace in our new home about 2 years ago and their total installation price came several hundred dollars under what we would have to pay using our home warranty's service. I don't know if that says more good for Winslow or bad for home warranties! I'll say a little of both.
We had an issue with the furnace about one year later and they were at our house the same evening after hours and did not leave until it was up and running as designed.

I will never take my warm house for granted!
They’ve serviced my apartment a few times. In the summer I had no cool air coming out of my AC. They did a super deep clean on it, replaced filters, and even cleaned up their own mess and made it look like they never came. Then my heat wasn’t having air flow to my other rooms and they came and fixed that too in no time. Def recommend, the crew is super nice and knowledgeable!
