I feel it is time to update my previous post seen below. I stopped into DCNE this morning to purchase a few parts. Upon walking up to the counter area, I was immediately greeted and told they would be with me in a moment. (He was waiting on another mechanic) within 30 seconds another employee asked if he could help me. We walked over to another terminal and he took my information. My order was filled correctly and during the transaction, we had a pleasant conversation.
Excellent customer service. That’s how you treat customers!!
A second visit today produced the same great service. I was greeted right way, order taken and filled properly by a very pleasant employee.

As others have said, the counter help is terrible. I’m a mechanic in the HVAC trade for over 20 years. When I walk up to the counter area to purchase something I am usually ignored while the staff is either on the phone or on the computer. No one says Hi, I’ll be with you in a moment. They just continue ignoring the customers in front of them while talking on the phone or being on the computer. I will always go to any other supply house when it is possible. If they weren’t the main supply house for Carrier products, they would be out of business. Once someone finally waits on me, they are usually helpful. The waiting period of being ignored is horrendous. I’ve worked customer service in a busy photo lab. When a customer would walk into my lab I was at the counter immediately, smiling and helping them.
Very unlike what I experience at DCNE in Westwood.

A supply house for the Hvac trades can only buy stuff like Carrier AC equipment Bryant and payne ac equipt only if you have an account with a refrigeration license..
