I have used Mike Dwyer for many years to add freon on my AC unit for many years in Lawrence. After many years of adding freon, my AC died. I was advised by Mike that I really need brand new units and hired him to do the service. He charged $6500. I gave him upfront $5k on April 12 of 2021. Supposedly he would use that money to order the units. I was told that the unites would come from Canada. With the pandemic, was easy for me to believe in all excuses he gave me. (order delay, no parts, no answer from company bla bla bla). In June, when I started to question him more and more, then he started to ghost me. No answer to my phone calls or texts. finally in July I hired a lawyer to take care of this for me. Mike also ghosted the lawyer. Unfortunately people with poor integrity found the pandemic to use as excuse to show their bad side and be unfair to others. I have to say that I'm more than frustrated with a service I didn't receive, I am deeply disappointed as I trusted this person and have known him for many years I never thought he would do that to anyone. $5K is a lot money for me but lose the trust in people it's a bigger deal for me. I'm here to help stop other customers to be robbed and go through this same situation with Mike Dwyer.
