This company is very professional and I will highly recommend it. The job was done as it was promised and detailed by Nadjib. This company is extremely lucky to have a person like Nadjib whose professionalism, timeless and knowledgeable is a great assets. He went above and beyond with the logistics to help me with the installation of a new furnace since I’m in California and my property is in Massachusetts. This is the company to call when problems with heating and AC comes up!

READ ALL THE REVIEWS ANYONE WITH AMERICAN HOME SHIELD BEWARE OF THE SERVICE FROM THIS VENDOR - DANGEROUS GAS LEVELS AFTER HIS VISIT
I have American Home Shield and they advertised an HVAC Spring check I paid them $100.
They sent Soumadel out and the technician told me I needed a device that cost me another $300.
After they left I noticed a funky smell and thought it had something to do with the device he installed. The weather has been warm so I wasn't using my heat. Saturday my neighbor smelled gas. Sunday it was so bad I didn't use my heat and call National Grid. They confirmed the furnace is outputting dangerous levels of gas and turned the gas to the furnace off and shut my furnace off. When I called Soumadel to have a different person come and resolve it I was told the issue is carbon monoxide even though National Grid shut off gas. Additionally the person I spoke to told me he as the technician who had come out. When I stated I wanted someone else since his work had caused the gas leak "Natural Gas" very dangerous he then stated he was a manager. When I asked for the owner to call me he stated he was the owner. I spent $400 to have them break my furnace and create a gas leak and now have to spend another fee to fix what they broke.

Soumadel was assigned to us by American Home Shield. One of our AC compressor units was malfunctioning.
Soumadel came and took a good look at it and said that the system needed to be replaced which is not surprising as it is ~30 years old. Additionally after looking at the ductwork in our attic, he pointed out that it was not adequately insulated. I already suspected this, because we have had lots of problems with the unit not working adequately on hot days, and during the winter, humidity from the shower condensing in the ducts and dripping into bedrooms. It was also all flexible ducting which impedes airflow. He recommended replacing all the ductwork.
So in the end AHS paid for the new compressor and air handler to be replaced, and I paid Soumadel on top of that to replace the ductwork.
The 2-man crew was here for a few days and did a tidy job of everything. They were considerate of our house and our privacy throughout. The office was prompt and easy to deal with and kept me informed at all steps of the way. Also, the whole thing was done very quickly within a couple of weeks of me filing the AHS claim, just in time for warmer weather to kick in.
All in all, as good an experience as I could expect. I would use them again.

The techs at Soumadel did a great job. They were professional, worked efficiently and I am very happy with the job they did. From the scheduling to the completed job, everyone I interacted with was friendly and professional. I highly recommend Soumadel the next time you need any help with your HVAC system.

Awful company! We were connected with Soumadel through our warranty company because our AC was blowing warm air. The technician didn’t even turn the system on to test the temp coming from the registers. If he had, he would have noticed the air coming from the vents was no cooler than the room temperature. He left without doing anything, then told our warranty company the system was fine, thus making our warranty useless for our broken HVAC system. Another company later told us the entire system very obviously needed to be replaced.

What a pleasant experience to deal with soumadel. Nazeeb who is the back office associate is very respectful and explained the charges for replacing a furnace. It is neither the cheapest nor the expensive, but i would say it is little above the average cost. When it comes to the installation, O boy, Christiano is super smart, very skillful and finds elegant solutions and finished the job very well. My system now looks super clean and well organized. Thanks a lot Christiano. God bless you.

We were connected with Soumadel HVAC through American Home Shield's Home Warranty program as our boiler was having issues. I will say this that they are very bad in finding a solution they are focusing on selling more . And when it come to customer service they have no idea how to be professional. This company is a SCAM. If American home shield is sending them please don’t let them in. They are clueless. Awful awful experience . I will give them a zero .

I wish I had read some of these reviews before I allowed them to work on my house. American home shield sent Soumadel out to repair my downstairs AC unit. After the work that they did, both my downstairs in my upstairs unit were fried. I was given dozens of reasons of why this was happening none of which were the fault of the HVAC system they put in. I went weeks without AC, ended up going through American home shield to have someone come out to fix my upstairs unit separately. Soumadel never did fix my downstairs unit. I ended up paying an electrician out of pocket to come over and fix the repairs. They told me that my unit was wired incorrectly at the air handler and the thermostat. I had paid Soumadel $1200 out of pocket for the work that wasn’t covered. I asked for half of my money back, because they never did complete the work. Needless to say they said no.

We were connected with Soumadel HVAC through American Home Shield's Home Warranty program as our Central AC unit was not blowing cold air. Upon entering our home, I was immediately lectured on the fact that expecting residential AC to be at 68 degrees fahrenheit is unreasonable and AC systems should only be expected to bring the home to 15 degrees lower than the outside temperature. In other words, during the 95 degree days of this summer, I should be happy to have my home at 80 degrees.
Regardless of expectations, the central issue was that the AC was not blowing cold air. After inspecting the system, I was told that the unit was working perfectly, although no attempt to test the air coming out of the unit was made, but the issue was in the installation and execution of the set-up. When asked how to correct the issue, he responded with "short of remodeling the house, nothing." His suggestion was to reset our expectations around a normal temperature and learn to get used to 75 degrees inside. He also repeated several times that we had no drip pan, which was a liability, and in order to install a drip pan it would be a massive amount of work at a high cost. He recommended again that we not set the AC below 75 degrees to avoid condensation.
While frustrated, we recognized that we are not HVAC experts and didn't have the knowledge or experience to push back on his claims. So, we hired a second expert opinion. The second expert debunked all of Soumadel's claims and let us know that the AC wasn't blowing cold air because the switch was not on. Furthermore, not only did we have a drip pan, he showed us how plainly visible it was by taking a photo of it. Finally, while there is work to be done to improve the system, we were given options and explanations instead of a condescending claim to change our expectations.
I would not recommend this company to anyone.
