⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️our heating system has been making a loud bang noise, very concerning! We contacted another company, they came out, cleaned our tankless hot water tank and said everything was good to go! That was not the case and our system started banging again! We immediately called T & J first thing Monday morning and they had a technician out here by the afternoon! Nate quickly diagnosed our problem, found the part as soon as he left, and it was installed first thing Tuesday morning! With it being cold and having a newborn and a toddler at home, their quick response time and turn around to fix it was unmatched. We will forever be a loyal customer to T & J! Thank you guys again! I used this Business to replace my furnace , my old one was giving me expensive issues so made a call to this business and they came out and priced it up for me, the price was affordable so I did not let another day go by, its been a little over a year very happy with my decision ..and pleased with the work...
What a horrible experience I had with this company. My AC went down during the heatwave. Called T &J and they sent a technician out. Told me that Mice had eaten the wires in the AC and as a result the condenser was ruined. Told me that I would get a call from the office with a quote to repair. After 3 days no quote . After me calling several times they tell me it $3k to repair / replace AC unit. While I was waiting I called a company in Ashland . Martel HVAC. Tech came out ( super nice kid) and asked me how old the system was. I told him 15 yrs old. He told me that there is something in the AC unit called a contactor and that they sometime go bad. He told me he had a contactor in the truck. He said he saw no mice damage. Just some grass in the unit from grass cutters.
Long story short he replaces the contactor ( in about 15 to 20 minutes) and AC immediately works. Ice cold air in about two hours. Total bill including service call around $300 bucks. T & J wanted $3000.00 or 10 x more.
When I called T & J to ask them how they missed this the owner ( Jim The J in T&J) was a total jerk. He immediately got super defensive and was just a complete tool. In any case by using Martel I saved a ton of dough.
Just a warning. These guys ( T & J ) are a total rip off
3/7/2021 Update - Another excellent experience with T&J. We very recently had to have our gas meter replaced by Eversource. When installing the new meter, they found a small gas leak in my house. They had to shut off my combi boiler and told us that we may not have heat until the leak is repaired. In a panic, I called T&J and asked if they could help. Within an hour they had two techs at the house and the problem was quickly resolved. They were so quick that the Eversource tech was still there, and the heat was back on in no time. Huge crisis diverted. Thank you so much T&J!
From 2018: My recent experience with T&J Heating Air Conditioning & Plumbing Inc. was exceptional. I contacted then because they are local to my community. I was interested in replacing a mini-split heat pump at my home. My call was answered on the first try, I was asked appropriate questions about my needs, and I was provided a realistic time frame for an estimate. I was impressed that I received a follow up call to confirm my estimate apt. Jim showed up exactly on time and was very knowledgeable. He gave me a good scope of the project, and a time frame that worked well for me. I also asked for an estimate to replace my aged boiler and water heater with a new combi-boiler. Jim took the time to do this and also followed up with a quote for that job. T&J was able to come out just two weeks later and install my new Fujitsu Mini-Split Heat Pump (wonderful unit!). Patrick and Zach were my installers. They took there time to perform a very neat install. They made sure that everything inside and outside looked professionally installed. They were extra careful with my home; they even wore booties to protect my floors. Kudos to those two as they completed what was an excellent overall experience. I strongly recommend giving T&J a chance for your business; I think they will impress you as they did me. -J
These guys know what they are doing! Last month they installed a boiler/water heater, they had to move gas line and all new wiring to the other end of the basement. Very clean work, enjoying the new tankless water heater.
We called them again last week to replace AC evaporator coil in attic. They did great job and our air condition is back working.
We have used T&J for 16 years and during the last 3-5 years their service and knowledge of heating systems has declined steadily. T&J came to our house numerous times to fix out furnace and after 5-6 visits over three years a technician finally diagnosed and fixed our furnace. During break downs we had to reset our heating system manually.
After 5 years of terrible service we had T&J install a new boiler. Broke down in less than a week - no hot water. T&J "suck"! Do not waste your money find another HVAC company.
Unprofessional service just to try and get an appointment through the phone. Very arrogant and lack of courtesy. In less than two weeks I tried to get a service visit, first to install a kitchen sink faucet and correct a leak, a week latter to request a service to my heater systems, but in both occasions, I was not treated with courtesy, they did not gave me a to explain the request and almost immediately, gave a negative answer, and told me to look for another company. They did not looked interested in servicing a unit they originally installed Hope I will never have any relation with this kind of arrogant ,non customer oriented company
When my pipe burst I called T & J . Mario & his assistant were sent to access the problem. They located the damaged pipe and had it repaired with in 30 minutes. They were professional and polite. I would recommend T & J Heating !
I don't recommend using this company. I called because an A/C unit they currently installed was leaking water on the floor. The service tech arrived and spent less than five minutes total. They charged me a min $130.00. I called the office to see if I could get the cost reduced by a few dollars only to be argued with. Very rude, I wasn't looking for them to work for free, but paying for an hour when their here less than five minutes. I'll never use them again!!!
We used T & J Heating/Air Conditioning a few years ago to install a tankless water heater and were very happy with their service. Very professional and we love the water heater. Never have to worry about hot water/showers and that's the best! we can take 2 showers and wash dishes at the same time and NEVER run of hot water. the problem i ran into was when I was waiting to get my reimbursement check from Mass Save T & J kept sending me invoices for the balance and even when I told them I was waiting for the check they kept doing so and writing on the invoice I owed money. It was extremely aggravting!! You would think they deal with Mass Save all the time and they would know the process of having to wait for a check. Also, when I did this, I called Mass Save and they explained this and told me they were extremely busy with processing these types of checks.
