Paramount Heating and Cooling

REVISED: Our heat kept shutting off and getting an E02 error so we called around on a Saturday. Companies either didn't pick up, wanted $400 to come out on a Saturday, or didn't do baseboard heating. Knowing nothing about any of this or how this works I finally spoke to Bob at Paramount. Super friendly, relaxed, courteous, and professional. He explained exactly what the $400 guy explained but his price wasn't nearly as high. He also explained how he would be coming out with a temporary fix until our part would arrive and assured I was comfortable with the solution and cost. I was because again, another company told me the same thing. I would highly recommend Paramount and anything else Bob is responsible for. He made me feel comfortable - I didn't feel nervous about being ripped off and again, super nice guy.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Paramount from start to finish on two projects: replacing an old furnace & water tank with a new high efficiency system and upgrading my ducted AC while added ductless mini splits to cover the rest of the house. Their prices were very reasonable for both projects and the work quality was excellent.

Rachel was incredibly friendly and helpful with all scheduling needs and logistical questions. Bob is very knowledgeable and was patient and professional when providing quotes and talking through various options, offering his perspective on the best way to go. They made the process as painless as possible.

The team at Paramount were phenomenal. I can’t say enough good things about the quality of work, their professionalism, friendliness and value. I am extremely impressed with the job Mark, Ross and Bob did on the install of our heat pump system. And Rachel in the office was as friendly, responsive and helpful as you could ask for. They helped me wade through the Mass Save program every step of the way and were patient with my many many questions regarding the Mass Save program. Highly recommend.

Paramount Heating and Cooling just completed a massive job at our house installing heat pumps (half floor vents & half wall units) and I am truly over the moon at what an incredible experience this has been. Finding this company and their team was a blessing.

From our initial consultation with Shawn who turned around a fast and very well priced proposal to Rachel, at the corporate office who answered every single question promptly and thoroughly while holding our hand through the entire MASave process and was an incredible customer service ally, to the installation team of Bob, Marc and Ross who did an excellent job making the vision a reality, our home has never felt better. Did I mention their pricing is VERY competitive and their work is above average?

In life, it's always nice when the stars align and the exact right person or company shows up at the exact right time, for us that was Paramount. I highly recommend them.

We changed to Paramount when our big named service company could not get the job done. While waiting for an expensive part for over a month, We got a second opinion. These folks actually knew what they were doing. The technician went through the system from top to bottom. The REAL fix was as simple as an added drain. A very small bill for something that SHOULD have been there from the beginning. He also unplugged the existing drain. Our tech said it looked like the drain was NEVER cleaned. Our former company's answer to the problem was to charge almost $550 (not including labor) for a part that would have never fixed the problem. He also gave us great tips to help prevent clogging in the future. Great folks.We are very glad we switched to Paramount.

We had some serious central air issues. Paramount Heating and Cooling was prompt to respond and got Bob out to us as fast as they could. Bob was upfront and clearly explained what it would cost to repair the unit and the cost if we installed a new unit (ours was from the 90s!). We decided to replace and their team was quick to schedule and had the new unit running in no time! Fast, honest and reliable - all you can ask for! Will be using for all our heating and cooling needs.

Paramount provided excellent service! Rachel in the office was absolutely wonderful and was able to squeeze us in last minute. After a text to let me know he was on his way, Bob came and was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He worked quickly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again in the future.

My heating system made a very loud noise and I found Paramount Heating and Cooling. Rachel was very responsive in communication and provided me with all updates regarding job estimates and scheduling. Bob was punctual and is very knowledgeable, professional, and explained clearly what the problem was. Job details and estimates were transparent and sent electronically. Found my new HVAC company. Our furnace stopped working and there was a NorEaster about to hit today. I called lots of nearby HVAC companies and no one had any availability, until I called Paramount. They were busy too but once heard that our family had no heat, did everything in their power to schedule us in after hours today. Their guys were able to complete their prior work earlier than expected and got to the house before the scheduled time and reduced the cost of the visit due to not being after hours. They came in, very polite/super nice guys, very efficient, found the problem, replaced it and were done. I could not recommend them enough, thank you again for saving our family from a potential disaster. I will be enlisting their services again when summer rolls around for our central AC.

Update 4/27/21:
Repeat customer, needed new central AC units installed. Very helpful throughout the entire MassSave process and provided a very reasonable price for the whole service. Took only two days and they were very punctual provided a text when they were on their way. Service was done very professionally, no messes afterwards, everything went very smoothly. My kids even enjoyed having them around working and were sad to see them leave. We're very happy with the units and finally have AC again. I can't recommend these guys enough, they are a rare breed of good friendly service and you just trust their work They have a lifetime customer for all future HVAC needs. Thanks again!

Update 3/17/22:
The bottom of our water boiler rusted out and created a mess in our basement on a Friday night. We had no hot water and toughed it through the weekend and called Paramount on Monday. Bob gave me great info on our options, we spent a day deciding which to go with, Weds service started and Thursday the job was completed. This was a complete replacement of our furnace, water boiler, and installation of a combi boiler. Bob and his team are absolute professionals, they came in, did what they had to do, cleaned up and were done. Very efficient and you can tell also that they genuinely enjoy the work they do after seeing the quality of the installation afterwards. It is a rarity to have such a hassle-less process when you run into home issues. My family has had the privilege of experiencing this each time with Paramount. Cannot recommend them enough, Rachel and Bob are fantastic people and our family cannot thank you enough for the quality work you’ve done on our house! We also really appreciate you going out of your way to schedule us in ASAP knowing that our family had no running hot water. Thank you again!

Bob helped upgrade our HVAC systems when he was part of another company. This entailed installing new boiler equipment for heat, plus running new ducts throughout the house and installing a new AC system where none had existed before. We liked Bob's expertise and attention to detail so much that we followed him when he established his own company. He continues to take great care of us. Also, Bob's assistant Mark solved a bathroom vent problem that multiple previous contractors had not noticed. Highly recommended all around!
