This company's mechanics supervisors and overall quality of workmanship is outstanding. Working with them was a great experience.

I’m a former employee of Calvert and they are a great company not only to work for but to have any service, installation, and preventative maintenance work done as well. I left because I made a change in careers but if I hadn’t done that I would still be at Calvert. Outstanding company to work for, always able to work 40 hours and more if I wanted to and great management that is easy to talk to and understanding.

Had a service appointment today...all around great customer service. From Alexi the Dispatcher to Dan and his helper the Service guys to Connie in billing great customer service. Only time I've have repair work done and the office calls to say they can come an hour earlier.Amazing!!! Would def recommend and use again.

Salesmen are highly unprofessional, office personnel is rude and standoffish, absolutely could not wait to get me off the line. Older electrician made some very inappropriate remarks throughout the duration of the job, the other guy with him spent nearly all the day lounging around in his vehicle.

Charged 4.5 hours for a job that was done in 30 minutes. Crooks.

Calvert Mechanical Solutions far exceeded my expectation! They are HVAC geniuses! They are spending 12 hours just testing, balancing and honing the new systems. Calvert measured the CO (if any) and CO2 output of the heating systems, measured air pressure, calculated air flow based on room size and replaced ducts to ensure correct air flow.

During the installation, they found several things wrong with the duct work that was installed when the house was built. We had main ducts blocked, a coil installed in totally the wrong place, vents not sealed and ducts not level. We had over 2 cubic feet of holes in our system due to shoddy work; and this is how the system was installed. They fixed all the duct issues and did the job right! Instead of just patching the holes, they made new ducts; instead of reusing the old wiring, they ran all new wires. They even installed the new units so I could easily change the filters, which involved shifting the units. They even took the time to install new pads outside for the AC units and they removed all the extra dirt and rock (not just dumped it in the woods). My other quotes were just going to reuse the pads, and once I saw them, I knew they had reached their useful life.

Calvert also tested the units using complex tools that showed the exact performance of the system. They then tweaked the systems to maximize their efficiency. I was totally impressed! The most amazing part is that they did all this for no extra charge. They estimated I was losing about 20% to 50% efficiency due to the issues above.

Given the quality of the work, I highly recommend them. Please keep them in mind if you need any HVAC work done. I know other companies can put in new units and get them running. The science of the process though is how the units actually work to heat and cool your house. Calvert excels at customer service!

They have HORRIBLE customer service. Communication barely exists as to the job status. Rarely return phone calls. Milk the labor hours on every job. Overpriced. Would not recommend AT ALL.
