    Both times I have used them (once for the furnace and once for the air-conditioning) the technicians have been knowledgable and transparent about what they found and what they proposed doing. The charges were reasonable and the service excellent. They have a generic name, but a personal approach to treeing their folks. I recommend them!

    The dispatch was polite and helpful. The technician came out, looked at the problem we described. He attempted nothing before telling us "we don't do this, you need to contact another company."

    Then, charged us $115. I could understand if any, literally any attempt was made before being told "you will need to call someone else." I can't help but feel that the message "you need to call someone else" could have been conveyed when we described the problem initially, especially since USS DOES NOT WORK ON MAINLINES and our issue was a mainline issue.

    If I am unjustified in believing that a company should avoid charging $115 when the work was equal to "we cannot help," ignore my review. If you are like me and agree that it is better for a company to earn their money by doing something, literally anything, to solve the problem I suggest making certain that USS is capable of solving your problem before scheduling with them.

    To clarify if you are still with me, the outdoor drain was not draining. A plumber would know this is a main line issue. The technician charged us $115 dollars to (1) observe the problem exactly as we had described it and (2) charge $115 dollars without doing anything to solve the problem.

    My suggestion to USS is to tell all technicians to perform a basic snake if only for show, otherwise customers like myself will feel duped. At least in that case my money would have been spent on something, instead of nothing.

    I have been with these technicians for at least 3 decades. It was comforting to have the first "outsider" in our home since "stay-at-home" began in March, to be an old friend from many years of doing furnace and air conditioner maintenance. Very trustworthy and always a good job.

    They came in and diagnosed the problem, and within 10 minutes, they found the problem and ordered the repair part. It was a Kohler tub with a special overflow attachment which was the problem. This crew knew what they were doing. Highly recommended.

    Great service!! We were given a number of different options from Brendan to replace our AC unit so that we could find something that would fit our budget. The installers arrived right on schedule and were excellent. We would strongly recommend them.

    We rely on United Service Specialists Heating and Air Conditioning for all our heating and AC unit issues. We are a small business located in an older building with 20 year old units.     While all the service professional did was to re-light the water heater, he provided information to help prolong the life of our water heater going forward . I appreciated that. Marvin and DeSean were very professional and polite. They wore mask and covered their feet before entering my home.

    Carlos was extremely considerate and prudent. The COVID measures (mask, gloves, boots) were appreciated. Carlos took time to explain the work being done and showed pictures of my unit to help with his explanation. Carlos has a very nice disposition and is friendly to my children.
