Carlos Reed knows his stuff. Took care of us efficiently and within budget. I recommend Sila they were the only company that I called that had enough techs that could service us same day.

The technician was excellent! He was well trained and prepared to service our units. I would use this company again! Attitude is very important and his was excellent! Zahir was awesome!

Update: after being a customer for 3 years, we recently had a pretty bad experience and have tried to refund our maintenance plan that wasn’t used but haven’t heard back from Sila. The technician came out in Dec, immediately shut off our heat and said our system needed too many repairs and he suggested replacing it. Their quotes were $18-32,000 for a new heat pump. Got a couple more vendors to come out while we suffered without heat and had it fixed for $900. Heat is running better than ever. Would just like our maintenance plan purchase back since it wasn’t serviced.

We signed up for the annual maintenance plan in the fall and made use of it for a spring HVAC cleaning. Easy to book, great onsite Customer service and quick repair with no charge.

Tony was quick, efficient, and responsive. We had no idea who to call but our neighbors had a great experience with Sila and we did too. Highly recommend if you need A/C repair!

After another DC area company failed to show up, we contacted SILA, who had someone out to address our AC issues the next day (amazing timing). Tony helped us and he was wonderful, explaining the existing issues, costs, best next steps. Amazing service. We would recommend SILA to anyone in the area for prompt, reliable service!! Our AC went out on a Sunday so we called Sila and scheduled an appointment for the following day. The next day, the technician charged us $185 for calling in on a Sunday even though our appointment was on Monday, and $850 for an AC start-up kit and capacitor, which took about 10 minutes to replace. They do not break down labor charges - most likely because it would reveal that more than $600 of this 10 minute job was for labor. This company is price gouging in the summer heat.

EDIT: In response to the comment from the provider - I have both emailed and left voicemails for the last two weeks, none of have which been returned.

Our high velocity system installed by Sila has been great— cools quickly and dehumidifies. This spring we had our annual service performed by Carlos Reed. Carlos was knowledgeable and professional, taking time to explain the items he was servicing during his visit.
