My experience with Sila was excellent. Everyone I dealt with, from the office to their technician, Tony, and installation team of Josh and Elvis, was professional and knowledgeable. Josh and Elvis were committed to providing a high quality product and were successful. I was extremely impressed with both of them. I would highly recommend Sila.

Beware of unreasonable pricing and deliberate scamming!! Called Sila to come do an annual check up on our AC units. Ended up being pressed to buy a membership, pay $4-7k per unit for dye test to identify leak and $250/lb to replace coolant. Our units were purchase in 2019 and I find it hard to believe that we would have to spend close to $15k to fix them. At that point, I might as well buy brand new units. When we told technician we would think about it, he quickly sweetened the pot by throwing in a free lb of coolant. Anything to close a sale. We ended up calling around other places for quotes and their prices are 3x cheaper.

We had a different technician come out and look at our system. All of a sudden our compressor wasn't working. Odd, since we just had Sila's technician do a tune up and was told our compressor was fine. After some diagnostics by our new technician (we were present the entire time), we find that a wire was deliberately unplugged by Sila's technician in an attempt to upsell us on services. Wow, a blatant SCAM by Sila to take advantage of consumers. In reading Sila's Yelp reviews, it seems like I'm not the only customer that thinks that they have unreasonable pricing or dishonest business practices. There's plenty of 1 star reviews on their Yelp page. We will be requesting a refund for Sila's annual tune up.

A word to the wise-- look else where for HVAC services. Sila thrives on scams and dishonest business practices.

Great service. The technician was great, very knowledgeable and fixed my two plumbing issues. There was no cold in coming out of my bathroom sink and my inside shut-off valve to my outside faucet was leaking and would not shut off the water going outside. Technician installed new shut-off valve. All issues are fixed. Thanks Sila!

My experience with Sila has been outstanding. With my technician Jevon specifically! Jevon has always gone above and beyond. He has resolved all issues that I have had. Always on time and extremely knowledgeable in his job. These qualities should be commended. I will also add he has a great personality. I want to also add Miranda has been great with scheduling my appointments and made them convenient for me. This has been greatly appreciated. I couldn't have worked with a more kind and caring person. Thank you for this opportunity for me to voice my appreciation.

I highly recommend Sila to anyone and everyone. They are honest, reliable, friendly, and professional. I needed a last minute service as I have house guests coming and so is the hot weather. They came within two hours and my a/c now works so my guests will be comfortable! I plan on getting my new system from them. Thank you William, Luray, and Wayne you all are awesome!

7/4/2023 - I called Sila tech. came out found a capacitor defective, replaced. My unit running, however, I was over charged for the part. Also, because of my background with electrical I observe the tech. Not following a safety procedure, so after not following the safety procedure, he deemed my unit defective and told me I needed a whole new unit. He did not understand the timing circuit so he made a bad call. The unit is running fine. I have no problem with the service call fee of 149.00, but . I am disputing the overcharged cost of the capacitor of $265.00. That capacitor is only a $12
Part and I am going to dispute the company for the difference of the overcharge. Also, I will suggest that the technician be retrained after his misdiagnoses of the unit. As I see it, if anyone that has had this technician out to their home Sila was misrepresented, and and their technician is over-charging customers daily. I have an Electrical Engr. Degree and observe the technician make a basic safety mistake.
To be continued ....will right another review if Sila fails to make this situation correct. Thank you. VM

Overall, overpriced and predatory. Will not recommend and will cancel my services to this company. Had a burst pipe and called the plumber through Sila. The technician fixed the copper pipes (1k), which was more expensive than local plumbers. He proceeded to leave right afterwards, but I checked the water heater and noticed we didn't have hot water. I asked him to look at it and we realized the water from the pip dripped into the water heater. He tried to vacuum some of the water and tried to get it lighted. It did not work and recommended that I purchase a new water heater. When he left, I found 2in of water in the drip tray still... which was why I couldn't start the pilot light. Water heater worked perfectly fine after I drained all the water.

I had a water heater flush done and one of the parts was outdated so it was also replaced free of charged because it was under warranty. First, I want to say the technician, Devin and Giovanni are the best. One thing I liked is that the technician Devin after telling me about the situation he called to see if the part was under warranty so I would not have to pay extra, he also explained the procedure step by step. They both were excellent in their craftmanship, very friendly and respectful. They also gave me pointers about maintenance and other services offered by Sila for future reference. I am very pleased with the work that was done and will not hesitate to call Sila for other jobs to be done in my home.

I lost heat Friday morning. I scheduled an appointment for Monday morning and the technician was on time and helpful. The old furnace needed to be replaced and I was able to schedule installation for the next morning (at almost 5 p.m. Monday evening).
Tuesday morning, the installation crew (2 people) showed up promptly at 8 a.m. and worked until after 4 p.m. without a break until the job was done and I had heat again. There was a problem with the wiring at my house, or they would have finished hours earlier. To their credit, they kept troubleshooting the problem until it was solved.
I'm happy with the service and with the people.

Devin from Sila installed an electric hot water heater, pressure control valve, faucet set, and re-plumbed a number of connections. He was very responsive to our needs and his work is impeccable. He was also very observant and paid great attention to detail.
