I was getting jerked around by another HVAC company. This other place took 5 days for a quote and then told me a week+ before they could do it. Called Perry Hall on a Thursday, they came out for the quote that Friday and I had AC that Monday for $1300 less than the quote that took 5 days to get. Top notch the whole way by these guys.
They replaced the heating system for our oil to gas conversion - reasonable rates, professional operation, cleaned up afterwards. So far things seem to work great, so we'd recommend them!
Found out my chimney liner was damaged and I called Perry Hall HVAC to give me a quote on a new high efficiency furnace to avoid having to fix the chimney. They came out and the technician gave me a very honest and upfront assessment and told me that I should not get a new furnace, but rather should spend the money to fix the chimney instead. They were honest, even though they could have sold me a new furnace they told me the truth and said I would be wasting my money on a new furnace. They even gave me a recommendation to a chimney contractor that gave me a better deal that what I was already quote. Even though I did not buy a furnace from them, they gave me a free honest assessment and I would totally trust these guys with my next project. I will definitely call them for my next project.

Had some trouble with my furnace on new years eve..called new years day nd they closed at 12 noon..they came out jan 2nd. (Rapid response time for a person who does not have a service contract for those who dont know.9) which turned out to be loose wiring connection on the induction motor. Technichan named Woody arrived promptly and notified me by phone that he would be arriving within 30 minutes. When he arrived my furnace did not act up and worked properly. Paid the diagnostic fee and was told it was good for 30 days. Sure enough few hours after he left the unit gave out again. I called back in the afternoon and he came back promptly again and isolated the issue within a matter of minutes. He went above and beyond by rushing out to the parts store for a new induction motor and wheel at rush hour with a strong chance of store closing and was able to get the part. Dispacth even called me to inform me that he was stuck in traffic. Woody informed me that the vibration of the furnace operating was causing the connection of the wire to go in and out. Woody walked me through everything he was doing and did not make me feel forced to purchase things I did not need. He did not have a problem with me asking questions related to what he was doing. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE ALL AROUND!! VERY PLEASED!! Thank you for all that you do!
What a company! They continually come out until the problem is resolved. I have been with them for over fifteen years and I intend to stay with them as long as I am in the area. The technicians are always professional, knowledgeable, courteous and prompt. It is a company which is long on service and certainly stands out noticeably within the industry.
We bought an entire Carrier A/C and heating system in May 2018. That included an outside condenser unit, an inside air exchange unit (for gas heat and A/C) a thermostat and a new humidifier. We have had approx. 9 service calls since it was installed! Apparently our Carrier Unit is very high tech but is also very finicky needing constant attention from trained service professionals. Sadly, even though the service people sent out to maintain and repair a brand new unit were very polite and friendly, they NEVER fixed our unit on the first try. That included the installation that left the entire 1st floor vibrating whenever the A/C went on. There were several other issues in our first 2 years, including but not limited to needing a new replacement control panel, recalibration in the gas flow and fixing the brand new humidifier that stopped working? The repair of the thermostat took a total of 3 service calls to finally get it right. Below is a picture of how Perry Hall's tech left the drainage system on the humidifier. Cleaning up the ensuing (small)flood was on me. No recommendations for this company.
Perry Hall Heating & cooling came out within a few hours to fix our A/C. Very professional and reasonable in cost to repair. We WILL be using them in the future.
Technician was accommodating of time, knowledgeable of the problem and efficient in fixing the issue. He also offered other information that was helpful pertaining to our unit.
