My outdoor A/C unit stopped working in the middle of the night. After searching for repair services online, I decided to go with Beltway due to their great customer reviews. I sent a message a little past 2 in the morning, not expecting a reply until Monday (it was a Sunday). They responded to my message a little later that day, letting me know they could get a technician to me in a couple hours. Sure enough, James arrived promptly and was very professional, personable, and knowledgeable. He was able to fix the problem in under an hour, replacing some fuses, installing a new capacitor, and cleaning the coils. He even checked my vents and furnace and gave me a few tips and things to look out for. I can tell James and Beltway actually care about their customers and aren’t just looking to line their pockets at my expense. I was so impressed with this company that I signed up for their maintenance plan.

First contact: I initially sent out numerous request for repair estimates, and quotes to replace my HVAC system. Beltway Air Conditioning & Heating was one of very few that actually took the time to respond. They followed up asking for additional details, to include my availability for technician diagnostics. Beltway got me on the schedule, and my technician Rudy showed up on time, and was very respectful/courteous. During the diagnostic process, Rudy took the time to explain what he was doing, showed me the components, and explained what their purpose was as well. Rudy completed a very in-depth diagnostics process, going far and above the previous company that came out the week prior. He then explained his findings in layman’s terms so that I could understand what my options were, and his recommendations. At no time did Rudy push additional services, or try to upsell equipment either. I was provided with multiple estimates or options to choose from, including repairing the 30+ year old system to keep it limping along, or proceeding with the replacement. Ultimately, I decided to replace the system, and not take the chance of it having a complete failure during the middle of summer. I knew when purchasing the house approximately a year ago, that this was going to need replacement relatively soon. It’s lifecycle was double the time they’re designed to last, and function. Thankfully, Beltway also works with a finance company to make the process as easy as possible, and their terms are relatively good. This process has been fairly pain free, minus my system dying a week ago. With that said, the entire Beltway Heating & Air Conditioning team has been very professional, helpful, and attentive to my needs as a customer.

Moe came out right on time and promptly explained and demonstrated the two issues we were facing. He gave us a reasonable quote and got the service and repairs done quickly. He was great to work with and I will definitely use the company again. They have a great feature where you get text alerts and you can also track the status of your job.
