    Robert installed a new HVAC system at my house. The workers were very professional. Each day they advised the game plan for that day and at the end of the day they reported on the progress made. The pricing was fair. I recommend them for your A/C and heating needs.

    Robert Refrigeration is a company that I am proud to do business with and I highly recommmend their services. Their pricing is fair, their services are quick and thorough, and they are accommodating to schedules and requests. For example, on one of the hottest days of the year on a late Friday afternoon, our air conditioner decided to stop working. Robert Refrigeration was able to come out to the house that afternoon and had the part to fix the Air Conditioner. I knew that they provided excellent service, but the Robert Refrigeration team really went above and beyond. Thank you so much!!!

    Came out in a timely manner. Was able to get the unit working same day. And was kind enough to not charge me a fee for having to go back to the warehouse.

    Would give 0 stars if possible. Had Robert out for fixing our A/C unit in the summer. Took multiple trips because after 'fixing' it the first time, they didn't do a complete job and it failed again the next day. In the process, they shut off the gas line for the heat which we only discovered when the heater didn't come on and we called our general contractor's A/C guy to look at it. Had no heat on the coldest day this fall for no reason at all.

    Additionally, we had issues with leaking duct work in the attic. The guy from Robert told us it was leaking because our filter was old which I was skeptical of. When changing the filter didn't fix it, obviously, that was when I had my general contractor look at it and we ended up changing out all of the duct work and it stopped leaking. Robert caused as many problems as they solved. Would never recommend them.

    I would have given a half a star or no stars if possible.

    Robert sent out a guy who toiled for more than two hours, 75 minutes of which were spent standing at his truck on the phone. My unit didn't have any freon, so he told me it would be $320 to do a freon leak test.He didn't have his own dish soap for leak checks and his batteries were dead on his freon scanner. After pressurizing the system with freon instead of nitrogen, which is a lot cheaper, He told me the compressor wasn't leaking but he thought there was a leak on the air handler and that he would need to replace the fitting on the liquid line. The quote he gave me for the estimated job cost was $1142 plus tax.
    I called some other companies who were reputable and would seemingly have higher rates and they were baffled by the quotes. When i asked the tech from Robert why the job was quoting so high and could he walk me through the costs, he told me "that's the price in the book."
    I had enough alarm bells going off by this point to shut the prcoess down, so a service manager came out and started the "Monty Hall/Let's Make a Deal" routine, wanting to know what i thought the service was worth. to be fair, i paid their $85 service fee to cover them coming out. I wish now that i hadn't.

    I then called another company who came out and did their own leak check at a cost of $65 ($25 for nitrogen charge and $40 for a vacuum pull) He informed me that there indeed was a leak on the air handler liquid line. Then he took his crescent wrench and tightened the nut and Presto. No more leak. After the service charge and adding freon to my system, my total bill was $375 which was about $767 plus tax cheaper than Robert's price.

    I called the service manager back and asked for my service fee to be refunded and he smugly refused, stating that "his guy did find the leak and you are just mad because we are more expensive." No,. I'm mad because you're unethical, unprofessional and rude.

    Evidently, the service manager doesn't mind that his guy wanted to unnecessarily replace a part instead of tightening a loose nut and triple charge me for the services rendered. I'm sure there are people who blindly pay and i feel sorry for them, because there are people out there who aren't raping their customers. Unfortunately, Robert A/C isn't one of them.

    Ad states 24 hour, 7 day emergency service available, but I guess that's only if they feel like it. We were having a gas furnance issue that would require a plumber & an A/C - Heating co. Called on a Saturday afternoon, they called back within the hour, but when we explained our problem we were told to call a plumber (which we had already done) but plumbers can not order or replace parts on a furnance!!! They wouldn't even come look it.

    I have been using Robért for many years. They are always extremely easy to work with and come out in a timely manner. Most importantly, the service is top notch! Their pricing is honest and fair. I will definetly continue to use them.

    We had a damaged coil we needed to install and we were able to bring it in on a Monday as it was done in a couple of hours saving us allot of hassle.
