Northern Tool + Equipment

It's stores like this that get the blood pumping. To hell with Lowes, home depot, or even ace hardware. Its like tractor supply for the city slicker. Employees are hit or miss. Recently bought a pressure washer that has been perfect. The sales associate was trying to convince me that it would break the second I used it for more than an hour. No I don't need a $1000 one, I just need a very basic one to upgrade my broken ryobi.

Great selection. Liked the prices too. I bought a dolly or hand truck, if you prefer. It was good quality and on sale for 72$. A great price..I know because we had been shopping around for one for awhile now.

Very nice clean store. Associates exceptional. Found some items I needed on sale too. Easy to get to also. They gave me a $10 discount on my purchase for applying for their Credit Card. Got the CC with a very generous limit too. Will go back.

Store was clean and nice. Staff could have been a little friendlier but they had just opened up, so I am cutting them some slack. All in all a good experience.

Everyone at this location is very kind polite and exceptional Whoever does the hiring for the cashiers is excellent give them a raise cause all the cashiers are above and beyond their duty duty I wish I had more money to spend at the store however God will provide

The products I have received have arrived on time and are very good quality. I have not had to return any products, so I am unsure of the return process. I feel that is a good thing. This is a great place to safely order great tools.

So, here's my story for why I love Northern Tool (and not that other store, yeck). I was shopping for a little trailer to use around the house for small projects, landscaping, stuff like that. I called around to the "other store," looking for the trailer they had on sale, but I was treated very rudely. Not rude like, "what do you want?" Nooooo, this lady went so far as to put me on hold for 10 minutes while she 'went to check the availability of the trailer.' That's not such a bad thing until someone else accidentally picked up the phone to ask who I was holding for and this voice in the background says, "put him back on hold, he can wait." Actually, no, I couldn't and I hung up on your store...haven't been back since, either.

Anyway, that's just to illustrate why I went to Northern Tool, instead, but here's why I will continue to visit.

I did buy my folding trailer from Northern Tool, loaded it up, then proceeded to ignore the boxes it came in for about 6 months. When I finally got around to assembling it, I found that I was missing an entire box of parts. OH NO! Dejected and sad and a little ashamed, I loaded up the parts and made the trudge back to the store. I explained my situation, bought it a long time ago, turns out I am missing parts, the original packaging was damaged, yada yada yada. The guy looks at me, walks in the back, then comes out with a box on a cart.

THEY REALIZED I HAD FORGOTTEN A BOX AND PUT IT ON A SHELF FOR ME!!!

Y'all, you can't beat customer service like that anywhere. NT is my new go to. Plus, it's a really clean store, their products are terrific, and the people are some of the best you're gonna meet.

Liz was amazing! She went above & beyond to meet my needs & I greatly appreciated everything she did to help me! I think she deserves to be recognized for her exceptional customer service qualities/ This is coming from someone that has 10+ years in Excellent Customer Service Experience in a variety of different industries!

Mike was very helpful and knowledgeable with everything I needed. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing quality equipment and service.

I went in here to browse the generators. Had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Elwood, he was super nice, professional, and helpful. It was nice to encounter someone that loves their job and customer service. One of my favorite places to shop! Plenty of good stuff!
