Steven Chadwell is extremely knowledgeable and,frankly, the best Heating and Air Specialist in Shelbyville.

He has fair pricing. He is always responsive regardless of the time. He sends clear and easy to understand billing statements.

He has helped me out during emergencies in the dead of summer and during literal snowstorms. I recommend him to everyone I know.

We are a small residential rental management company. We have never had such quick response for our heating problems. Our tenants have been very happy at the responsiveness and quickness, which Chadwell Comforts provides.

The care and courteous response is not only surprising, it is very comforting.

Chadwell Comforts has been amazing.

Stephen replaced all the duct work in our crawl space. The old duct work was leaking and pulling damp smelly air from the crawl space into the house. Stephen listened to my concerns, replaced all the ducting and made sure the whole system was sealed nice a tight. We noticed a dramatic improvement in the air quality in the house after the work was completed. We'll be calling Chadwell Comforts in the future for sure.

Update:
I can't leave another review, but I will update this one. Our AC went out this summer (July 2019). Stephen was out and got it fixed within an hour or so, working past 5 o'clock to make sure we had AC back in 93+ degree heat. Again an excellent experience and I will always recommend Chadwell Comforts.

This company is quite frankly amazing. If there was a way to give this company 6 stars it would already be at 6 stars because they’re that good. The people that work there are so nice and genuine, they’re polite and they get the job done right. And even after insisting that they don’t have to clean up after they fixed and replaced my heating system they insisted that “it’s what they do, they never leave a home dirty” and they did wear booties the whole time and a mask upon close contact 😷

Steven has done a great job for us on our HVAC systems. I feel confident he knows what he is doing. He is punctual, timely and professional. I found the service to be responsive when needed and I hope to continue to be a customer for years to come.

This is a great company. Owned by Stephen, a Veteran, who has integrity which I appreciate. When I have had others say I need a new system in one of my rental properties, Stephen will usually come out and repair it fast and for a lot less money than the cost of a new system. But when I do need a new system he does nice work and uses American Standard equipment which is great stuff. I have some systems that are 12 years old and all I have done is change the filters. If you want an honest contractor that does his best, this is the guy to call.

I’ve know Stephen Chadwell professionally as a service member and personally here in the community. I didn’t even look anywhere else. Purely based on I know him to be honest and professional. Showed up when he promised and I got follow up calls while he was Enroute to my house. Will definitely use this company again.

They were extremely professional, worked all day and into the evening to get the job done in ridiculous heat and humidity. They replaced ducts and serviced our geothermal and we are very pleased with the results. I would certainly recommend this team to anyone.

Professional, fast, communicates well and shows up on time (sometimes early) and gets the job done! I love that they emailed me the quote and emailed me the 'paid invoice' afterwards. This veteran and family are working so hard to please their customers, it shows! He goes above and beyond and is very knowledgeable. I highly recommend them to everyone!

Required replacement of heating and air conditioning systems. Chadwell provides an estimate and a date to start and finish the work. They came as represented and finished in a day with minimal disruption.

Their estimate was 75% of the Louisville company and did not need to expand the furnace area as proposed by another company.

We were satisfied with both the price and quality of work. The warranty and maintenance programs were a plus!
