After calling at least 5 local HVAC professionals in the area, Sterling genuinely outperformed my expectations on price, quality of work and speed.

Paul, Tim, Jordan and Mike worked diligently to listen to my needs, my budget, and my expectations. I went with the Bosch unit and it must be the most quiet, yet powerful system I have ever witnessed.

I got several estimates and really did my homework. I was amazed at the price of the unit compared to much more inferior equipment.

I feel these guys are honest and genuinely do their best to make you happy.

I now know much more about HVAC and feel I have a proficient working knowledge of the brands and their capabilities.

I am hopeful their ongoing service will keep me this satisfied.

My air wasn't working on hot days, they told me the blower in my furnace was the issue and I could get it fixed or buy a new one. Since the furnace was old I purchased a new one. I still had the problem of not cooling so I called back and Danny who answers the phone told me "well it's not guaranteed" after I just spent thousands of dollars. They ended up coming back out and said it's your return air so they put a vent in a closet and that still didn't work. I called back when it wouldn't get below 78 degrees and Danny said I would have to pay for a service call. And now they claim my issue is my insulation and the lack of which was never seen. I finally asked if they even analyzed whether the unit was even large enough for my house and they didn't even know what size unit I had. What a complete waste of money and they have no idea what they're doing.

A+, Five Stars, and 100. This company did a very thorough job at a reasonable price. The two technicians were thorough and well-mannered. Owner "Danny" is likewise personable and friendly. I will definitely use Sterling for heating or cooling issues in the future; highly recommended.

Gerald came out to my house on a Friday morning within 30 minutes of me calling him. He was professional and able to complete the job quickly. I was impressed by the top notch service, reasonable pricing, and I would hire them in a heart beat again! I highly recommend them! Especially Gerald!

These guys are awesome, had them run out to a good friend of mine‘s house who lost her heat over the weekend. Their tech came and diagnosedthe problem, which another company had already done,found the repair part and installed it for 400 bucks less than what the other company wanted to beat me up for. The other company mentioned it might take a few days to find the part. the tech at Sterling had the whole project finished,and the house warm in under four hours. Based on the speed and professionalism of their office and their technician, I highly recommend sterling over anybody else in the Louisville area. I could not believe what the other company wanted to charge for the part that the furnace needed.It goes to show you that some companies are still honest, maintain integrity and value their customers concerns. Thank you Danny and the folks that work with you I’m highly impressed and grateful for a job well done. Your honest, and care for your customers which is more than I can say for Other companies in the area.

Sterling Heating and Air Conditioning has done work for me for many years and it is always exceptional. I could not imagine any similar firm providing better service. Technicians have always been polite and good at explaining what they do so efficiently.

Our service tech explained his process, was very friendly and gave us great tips. Very reasonably priced. Signed service contract with great benefits. I highly recommend using Sterling!

The folks from Sterling are nice, BUT there work at my house has not been very good, nor have they followed through with their promises. They put in AC ducts for me, but not the way I asked, so they had to come back to fix it and still left all of their debris from the work in my basement. In addition, they installed a mini-split in my upstairs. The cost was pretty high, which was somewhat expected AND they had to come back and fix it 3 times, because the drainage tube was NOT elevated enough. So I had no AC in an upstairs room in the summer. They admitted that they made a mistake with the install that caused water to back up in the unit and flood down my walls. They agreed to paint the ceiling underneath the bedroom from where the water flooded down the walls, but when presented with the bills ($100), they backed said it was not their issue. I even have witnesses including their own employees. I'm disappointed and would not recommend these folks for your work.

I had a complete system (Furnace, coil, heat pump, lineset) installed two years ago by Sterling. They have been nothing but professional with me on all aspects and were quick to fix any minor hiccups with the system. They are clearly a mom 'n pop business and seem to look after their clients. Definitely recommend.
