KY Energy Pro was contracted through my home warranty company to repair/replace my HVAC system. Work was completed at my home under contract through the HW company. KY energy pro visited my home on 3 different occasions and the last visit included them replacing my indoor HVAC unit. The replacement included a unit that had a total of 2 backup heaters when my previous unit had a total of 4. KY Energy Pro placed this blame on the HW company and stated it wasn't their responsibility to verify the equipment prior to installing it. KY Energy Pro left live wires hanging from the walls in the room where the indoor unit is housed with 244V of live electricity available for my children to touch at any time. None of the insulation was taped or secured when the new unit was installed and there were other locations on the indoor unit where the representative from KY Energy Pro neglected to put the unit together appropriately. There was styrofoam packaging inside the unit that clearly stated to remove before adding the coil and that was also left inside my running unit.

When I reached out to KY Energy Pro, I was told this was my issue because they were contracted through the HW company and that an inspector should have seen their mistakes and contacted them sooner. I was also insulted about not paying a bill when they were specifically contracted through my Home Warranty company and I owe KY Energy Pro nothing.

Not recommended. I contacted KY Energy Pro based off of a neighbor's recommendation, and did not have anywhere near the positive experience they did. First, KY Energy Pro was supposed to arrive between noon and 4pm, and finally called me at 4:30 to let me know they would not be coming out that day. I made arrangements with a neighbor to let KY Energy Pro in my house the next day, and they conducted their review and added refrigerant without ever contacting me to discuss options. Months later I receive the first ever invoice from KY Energy Pro, and they decided to addlate fees to the first bill they sent me.

From the quote to the payment for service this was a wonderful experience. The contractors gave straight forward information including tips on how to do our project in a way that would maximize our budget. The estimate was accurate to the cost of service and the team that insulated our home was punctual, professional, & cleaned up after their work. When I arranged payment with their office manager she was warm, familiar and helpful. I will definitely reach out to them again for regular maintenance for my heating & cooling system.

KY Energy Pro is an excellent company. Everyone there was excellent, from the first person to answer the phone to the technician. I had a very difficult job that several other companies were not even willing to look at as my unit is located on the roof of a condo building and required a 40 foot ladder. KY Energy Pro did the work quickly, correctly, and for a fair price. I will use KY Energy pro for all of my rentals and my primary home moving forward. This is an excellent company from top to bottom.

Excellent job. The day Brandon gave us a quote we decided to use Ky Energy Pro for the job. We cancelled other quote appointments because we were so impressed with Brandon. The install we even better than we expected. They were meticulous with every detail. Can't say enough good things about them. Also they were so quiet we hardly knew they were here. As well everything was clean when they left.
Would choose them again in a heartbeat!!!

KY Energy Pro is the most frustrating, unprofessional company i have ever experienced.
Unsecured live wires as a result of "replacing" our indoor HVAC unit. Deflects responsibility, rude staff, poor workmanship. Do NOT recommend.

We had a large job done with Kentucky energy pro and could not be more sorry that we did not hire another company to do the job. The equipment they used is fine. However their workmanship is very subpar. We have spent thousands of dollars having another company repair work because it was improperly performed. They insured us they were up to doing a commercial heating and cooling job. However it was clear that they were way out of their league when they attempted to do the work. They had to go back and repair things over and over again . Duct work they installed fell apart before they even got to other parts of the job. They drilled a hole in another unit that almost destroyed it. Had to be repaired by another company that we had to hire to come in an attempt to fix the many problems we have had with the systems since they were installed. Kentucky energy pro has given up on trying to come back and repair of the many faults that exist in the system they installed they won’t even answer my phone calls at this point. If I could give thm less than one star I would however due to limits of the rating system we are forced to give one star.

Ky Energy Pro was the contracted HVAC service provider for the builders of our new garden home. After moving into our new home we had issues with our dryer venting connection so our builder scheduled Ky Energy Pro to come to our home to resolve the problem.. Their service man came for the first scheduled appt without any equipment and was unable to cut down the connection sleeve so he was unable to push the dryer back even with the washer and it was left protruding half way out in our laundry room. The second appt, again scheduled by our builder the Ky Energy Pro service person was a no show. Their company called us directly to schedule a third appt at which time we were given a date with a 8 am to 12 pm 4 arrival window and was advised the service guy would call that day 15 to 30 minutes prior to arrival. After waiting the whole morning beyond the arrival window and not hearing from anyone, I was beyond livid and called the company at which time they offered to reschedule which I refused. Would I recommend this company to anyone ? Absolutely NOT! I’ve encountered poor service before, but this was a first for a service company, not once but twice, not show up for a scheduled appt.?

Had a really good experience today. The technician, Rick, quickly diagnosed the issue and had our AC back up and running in less than two hours from the time he arrived - including the time to go pick up the necessary fan motor. Really pleasant, friendly service.
