We had a new Carrier AC and furnace installed by Dauenhauer. They arrived on time and were done early. The work area was cleared of the old furnace and condenser. They made sure that the system was working properly and trouble shoot a small leak in the compressor valve. We were happy with the quoted price and the installation.

I had lost the use of all water. Since everything, toilet, bathtubs, sinks, were backing up into my basement sewer drain. This problem happened late on a Friday afternoon. What a mess to clean out my basement. First I called a different plumbing company. They said they were closed on the weekends and I would have to wait until Monday. All weekend without water or bathroom facilities. I remembered Daunhouer's commercial. " You can call Dauenhauer any hour." I called and they set up appointment for the next morning, Saturday. When Thomas and Nick arrived. I took them on a quick tour of the problem. I showed them the clean out plug. But they said do you have a clean out plug behind the washer? I had no idea. They looked and found one, they said perfect. They immediately got to work. Removed the sludge from the stopped area. Had me test my toilets and bathtub for several minutes. When everything was back up, they noticed my sump pump wasn't pumping anymore. They adjusted the float and it started up. Thomas was very professional and knowledgeable. Prices were a little steep, but it was worth it.

Great technicians, because they are paid well by sky high prices. I thought there was an issue with my HVAC but it turned out my thermostat wire was unintentionally cut during some renovation work. The tech told me they would “help me out” and reconnect the wires instead of running new wire because it would “be way cheaper.” It was $300. I looked at the wire, and it was reconnected with plastic caps! I could have done this! When I called later and asked what new wire would have cost and why the cost to reconnect with plastic caps was so high, the customer service representative told me that she had no idea because the ‘system’ tells the techs what the charge and she isn’t a tech. I requested to speak to management twice, and nobody ever reached out to me. I accept some blame here and learned my lesson of always verifying cost before work but have cancelled my membership with Dauenhauer, because I can’t believe they left a customer (and member!) so unhappy with the service.

Great experience. Highly recommend Josh and the work he does. He came to our house and looked at the problem we had. Came up with a solution and complete estimate. Repair was made and everything turned out great. I will say again that Josh does fantastic work. 5 STARS!!!!!

I was charged $400 for one hour of labor and parts for the repair of two “pop-ups“ for two sinks. He was unable to give me a breakdown for labor and parts. Instead he generated a price out of an iPad. I reached out to management, have not yet received a call back. I feel taken advantage of, and don’t plan on using their services again.

Tim Hiser-Hall diagnosed the problem and provided an estimate of the cost in a timely manner. He and his apprentice were extremely professional, informative and patience with the number of questions I had for them. He provided additional information for other plumbing related issues to be addressed in the future. Excellent customer service.

Update: 6/9. When having the new toilet installed, we discovered that the wax ring replaced by Dauenhauer had partially slipped down the drain pipe, hence the continued leaking.
We reported to the company that the toilet was running constantly
and water was leaking from the base. The technician came out and replaced the wax ring. The next day, we called to report that it was still running and water was on the floor again. Technician called to say he was on his way and said that there was probably a leak in the porcelain and that it would cost over $700 to replace. Also told us that we could go to Lowe's or Home Depot to get one and he could install it. We decided to have Lowe's do the work because it was less expensive. We called Dauenhauer to request a portion of our money back since it wasn't fixed and got a text (not a return phone call) saying that their recordings don't have us mentioning that it was still leaking and we would not get any of our money back. Obviously we HAD mentioned it or why else would the tech say that it was probably a crack in the porcelain? We do not have issues with the technician, we have issues with the management who refuse to do the right thing for a customer in this situation. We lost $267 for a toilet that wasn't properly fixed and ended up having to buy a new toilet as advised.
