Dauenhauer Plumbing Heating and Air

Our water heater, which was older than most of the people reading these reviews, finally decided to go to light. When it was time to replace old Methuselah, we called Dauenhauer. They came out immediately, gave a reasonable estimate, and scheduled a prompt replacement service. David and his lovely assistant arrived timely and ready to work (and I mean WORK, that thing had to weigh the same amount as a small elephant). They installed the water heater promptly with not-so-much as a speck of dirt on our wood floors and white carpet. I was able to enjoy a warm bubble bath within the hour! Adulting is hard, make it easier on yourself and give Dauenhauer a call.

The entire staff at Dauenhauer Plumbing were extremely professional and polite.They were on time,kept us up to date on problems found and additional cost if any and cleaned up any mess they made when repairing the plumbing. The first time using Dauenhauer Plumbing and will be my only go to and recommendation in the future. Best experience we have ever had . They quickly repaired our plumbing disaster.

Ryan was in an out like a flash, diagnosed the problem and had us "flowing" again in no time. Placed a call at 9:15 am edt and had the problem resolved by 11:00 am edt. Was very cost conscious on what tools he used to meet the need!

We had a persistently leaky shower, and we were prepared for the worst since the cartridge valve was already replaced and still leaked. When Josh Hamilton came out he didn't have an easy time right away, but never gave up. He was able to localize the leak, and fix without us having to replace any pipes. David and Tommy did an excellent job replacing my water heater on a Sunday! I called in the middle of an emergency needing unscheduled repairs: they came out 3 hours later and were courteous, polite, professional and excellent. Within 6 hours of my reported emergency, they had replaced the water heater...on a Sunday!

I called to have my bathroom sink unclogged. They left a huge mess after the first call: a black, coal like substance was smeared all over my bathroom, which was just cleaned, so I had to clean it again, which was not easy given the nasty substance. It was bad enough that they did not bother to clean up after themselves. To make matters worse, they did not put the piping back together properly, which caused a leak under the sink that was not there before. They had to come back out to fix this second problem that they caused and acted like they were doing me some big favor for not charging me for the second call. There was no apology for the inconvenience even though I was stuck at home all day on my one day off dealing with their incompetence. I tried my best to be polite to the tech, offering him water, coffee and a snack, but this was not returned, as he addressed me as "brother man" and "my man", which I did not appreciate.

Eric did a fantastic job! He came to my elderly mother's house, and she was actually happy with his work, and believe me that's saying something because she is very particular! Great job Eric!
