Our heat would not work and Everyday Heating was assigned to the job. They showed up within the scheduled time frame, quickly diagnosed the problem and made the necessary repairs. Mark was very professional while in our home and we appreciate the good work.
Customer service would be a 0. . Calling back customers a…0 . Communication between peers, IMPORTANT … yet still a 0. Used this company in the past and they were great, recently not so much. The reply I received ,eventually while on my doorstep “Do you realize everyone’s call time is two weeks out”? . ( Very unprofessional response ) . Odd because why was a company out of Derby able to return my call the the same day and be out in a matter of an hour and a half replace a faulty part , clean my unit, let me know about a warranty issue I apparently have 🤨 and be on there merry way? All which could have been avoided with a call back. Unfortunate.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if you can possibly avoid it. They were our contractor through American Home Shield so we didn't have a choice. It was a very negative experience.
First, they never called to arrange an appointment like they were supposed to, they just scheduled it without any input from me. This is unusual, as all other AHS contractors have always called me to agree on a good time. They picked a time that wouldn't work for me. So I had to go to great lengths to arrange for someone to be home. Then he showed up hours BEFORE the appointment window when no one was home, and gave very little notice that this was happening. I had to call him to reschedule. He asked me to text him the number of the person who would be home so he could call and say he was on his way the second time. I texted the number, but he never called. And he again showed up before the time we'd arranged. Fortunately we'd learned to expect this and someone was there this time to let him in. He also didn't wear a mask during the initial assessment appointment or the followup appointment to make the actual repair.
Problems: -Not calling to arrange the appointment -Showing up outside the appointment window -Giving very little notice before arriving at the wrong time -Not calling ahead after asking for a number to call for this purpose -Didn't ever wear a mask. This state currently has the highest per capita COVID infection rate in the entire country and he failed to take proper precautions
The only redeeming quality is that he did fix the problem with my furnace and the work seems to be satisfactory. But the customer service was absolutely terrible. I will never use this company again, and I'm warning all my friends and family to avoid them too. It was extremely stressful and aggravating.
EDIT (this is a response to the company's reply): Thank you for the reply. I didn't mention in my original write-up that I DID call to try to reschedule but my message was never returned. I also emailed, but that was ignored as well. And while I can appreciate a tech stopping by outside the service window, that should not negate regularly-scheduled service window.
Mark was knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. He identified the problem quickly, and took extra time to make sure the new thermostat was working properly before leaving our home. Thanks again. -V and G Baker
Had them repair my AC. It didn’t work the first time so they came out immediately and we found out the compressor was bad. They have several Options with different pricing. I ending up getting a whole new system for a decent price. They installed it in 8 hours and have a bit more left to do but everything is ending up pretty good so far. Will update if anything changes. Would recommend them for people very nice and timely. Will take pictures of the unit when it’s done.
Put a service request in first thing in the morning with AHS for an issue with furnace, everyday heating and cooling accepted and scheduled appoint for same day in afternoon. They got there within the timeframe, explained what the problem should be and addressed it. Told me if there was still a problem to give them a call and they’d be back out ASAP. Didn’t need to call them back- it was fixed! Quick service response was highly appreciated and the explanation of what they were doing and how it affected system was appreciated as well.
We woke up on the 4th of July with no AC. We called Everyday Heating and Cooling due to our Home Warranty having them on record. They were able to come out 7/5. The appt was for 1-8 pm but Mark came out at 8 am and figured out the problem. We were up and running by 230 after getting the part. We will be using them again for our yearly inspections on both the AC and furnace!!!
Mark and Everyday have been responding to my AHS calls for the past 2 years. I have never been dissatisfied with their service. Problems with my aging heat pump system have always been fixed in good time. I would recommend Everyday to anyone. If we decide it’s time to cut loose of AHS, I hope he still has openings to respond.
Mark and Everyday Heating and Cooling are great. They came out, found the problem, ordered a new part and had it scheduled to install in 2 days. Installation took 10 minutes and they were done. Great to work with!
