This company was assigned to our repair issue through American Home Shield. Working through the warranty is always nerve-racking because you don’t have a choice of vendor, but this company did not disappoint! They got us on the schedule same-day, determined that we needed a new part, got that part same-day as well and had everything fixed quickly! I would definitely recommend Marc and his team!
Nathan and Max were very thorough and professional when they came to service my air conditioner. They fixed wiring on the unit, checked my filter, and refilled refrigerant ensuring that the unit was properly operating.
Wow! What a great experience working with Everyday Heating and Cooling. Our a/c stopped cooling and we were placed with them by the home warranty company They came out the next day and charged the system. About 10 days later, it stopped cooling again. Again, they came out the day after our request through our warranty. Discovered our coil needed replaced and notified the warranty company immediately. The warranty company were not the easiest to deal with and Everyday Heating and Cooling also helped us navigate the experience to push it along. As soon as they received the ok from the warranty company they put the order in which they received on a Saturday. Did they put us off? Make us spend the hot holiday weekend without air? Nope! They came out on Sunday morning and had everything installed, working and cleaned up in less than 2 hours. Again, this is a holiday weekend. Very clean, considerate and respectful. We would definitely recommend!
Mark was prompt and had my issue fixed within 20 minutes and house heating back up. Definitely would recommend! I was connected to him through my home warranty but if I didn't have that I would still use him. 5 stars!
Mark was a great technician. He was very determined to get me back up and running when temperatures here in Kansas were exceeding 100 degrees. The issue at hand wasn't easy to solve but he stayed the course until it was resolved. Great service keep up the great work!
Mark came out and fixed our heater problem today. He was professional and very efficient with his time. He had us back up within 20m of arrival as we had a very routine problem. I had read some of the negative reviews about communicating arrival. And I'm here to tell you that's not the case. An email was sent out to me as soon as they received the work order about arrival today. Another one last night as a reminder. And a text 30m ahead of arrival which is perfect. Thank you AHS for sending these guys out. And thank you Everyday Heating and Cooling for being prompt and getting our problem solved!
Mark, from Everday Heating and Air came out and resolved my problem with my A/C today. I was impressed by his timeliness, knowledge, his professionalism, and his help answering my questions about my system. I highly recommend this excellent company for their fair price and service.
We asked to have our HVAC looked at. The technician arrived 2 hours before his window and was gone before I could even get home to meet him. My wife was there and he told her it was air moving from the vents. Second opinion from another company showed out of code wiring by previous owner that was an imminent fire hazard that had to be fixed. It also discovered an issue with the blower motor and heat kit. When I called the Everyday office to comment on the fact the tech didn’t even inspect the unit, the response was that I can always get a second opinion. Thankfully I took that advice, and my house did not burn to the ground.
My husband and I are far from litigious people, but our experience with Everyday has left us speechless. I don’t think I’ve ever left a bad review in my life and I have been a real estate agent for five years, so I have worked with A LOT of contractors both great and not. Anyways, my husband and I called American Home Shield when our air conditioner stopped cooling our house properly (was still blowing but air was warm) and Everyday Heating and Cooling was sent out to look it all over. After spending probably no more than 5 minutes looking at our furnace, Mark and his son moved outside to look at the AC unit for another 5 minutes or so. Mark then came back and told me the fan was shot and we needed a new one. I assumed he was referring to the fan on the AC because that is what he came out to inspect, and it was after looking at the AC unit that he came in with his summary. He told us the fan wasn’t a common one and could take several weeks to arrive but luckily they had one in warehouse already and he reserved it for us. He said he would be by within a few days to install it. We had no idea the long painful process of begging for updates and playing phone tag with both AHS and Everyday ahead of us. We felt like we were being slow played…days upon days would pass without updates, we would call Everyday who would tell us they were waiting on approval from AHS. So we would then call AHS who would tell us they were waiting on Everyday to send a number of things and basically told us they weren’t following their protocols. This cycle continued for WEEKS. So, we spent WEEKS without AC or heat because we were later told by Everyday that the fan on our furnace was the issue and not the fan on the AC like we originally thought (which didn’t make sense to us at the time but we trusted it). We started this process with hot summer days where we had to open our windows first thing in the morning to chase away the heat and order dinner every night to avoid using the oven and stirring up more heat — and ended with cold frigid days where we had to bundle our medically fragile 6-month old twins in layers upon layers just to keep them warm enough. We bought space heaters to scatter throughout our home, and we used the oven and dryer ten times a day for their warmth. We lived upstairs out of two rooms that we could keep warm with heaters. My husband called Everyday to ask if it was okay to use our furnace because the cold was becoming unbearable. We were told that we could not use it, and that if we tried the furnace would overheat and shut off. So, you can imagine our shock when we had another contractor out for a second opinion several weeks into this nightmare, who told us that there was absolutely nothing wrong with our furnace, and nothing wrong with the fan and that we could have been using it all along. He told us the issue was likely that our AC needed coolant (which is what we suspected all along…that explanation actually made sense to us). By the end of his visit our house was warmed to 68 degrees with no issue. He even told us he worked with Mark for many years and wasn’t surprised by our experience with him at all. We tried to call Everyday for clarification, after all…it could have been a mixup, again we are not litigious people and wanted to give every opportunity to clear this up. Maybe there was some confusion and we were missing something important... Did we ever receive a call back? No. Did we expect one? Honestly, no. Because that is the type of service we came to expect. Save yourself a massive headache and a ton of money and call someone you can actually trust, we absolutely regret reaching out to Everyday for help.
