PD Plumbing Heating & Cooling

There were a couple things that disappointed me about my experience with this company. Having to pay a fee before they do anything is odd; but, from what I understand they've done that for years. I was led to believe that that fee would be applied to what work was done. It wasn't, I will say I felt misled. The technician (Chase) I felt was sincere with me but, I did ask for the manager to please call me (Matt) which he didn't. From what I understood Matt told Chase that he tried calling me. I had no missed calls and no voice mail. Chase contacted me to collect on the 'balance' owed from his work, I was confused about the amount of the balance and what exactly he did. I once again asked again to speak with a management, he wasn't available; this was over the suggested added repair to be done... The charge they wanted for the complete repair seemed excessive. I was referred to this company by a well known friend; he was also surprised at the expense they had planned on charging for what they said they needed to do.
I won't use this company again. I was charged $354 and had nothing fixed; and, no call-back on the $6,000 repair they suggested (one days work, two men, some trenching required).
I used them once before, a year before, and they had to go back because what they did (which I was charged for as a fix) didn't fix the problem. I was charged additionally.
I, as a consumer, don't believe I was communicated with by the office staff like one should be, lack of communication and miss communication sealed the deal on not using them again, along with I belief they charge to much for their service. For what they were asking in price and suggesting as a repair would not seem out of line for some more explanation.

We used them for a full house new plumbing. They were very efficient, professional and courteous. I highly recommend using their business. They even came back after the job was finished to ensure satisfactory install.

I called around for a plumber to come and do some work that I needed to be done, there was no answer so I leave a message. The owner Britt calls back and I inform him of what I need and he states he has an opening on Friday at 9am and then tells me there is an $89 fee. So I ask can the work be done the same day if I say yes? Britt said “YES they can do the work the same day” well first the tech was not at house at 9am but the Tech was understanding and was thrown into a bad situation by owner Britt. Tech shows up and states I am here to give you an estimate. So I ask can the work be done today? and I was told No you pay the $89 to only get an estimate. I was shocked to pay almost $100 for someone to come and take 4 pictures. I do not recommend using this company unless you are in a dire need of emergency and willing to be overcharged by at least a GRAND or TWO. I did get my quote though which was for $5200 and that is me supplying the parts and 8 hours of work. Which means I was being charged $650 an hour for just labor and glue.

I will be also contacting my credit card company and filing a dispute since I was lied to and not told I was paying for an estimate only. What company charges to do estimates, especially almost $100 to take a few pictures and a quote!

PD Plumbing and Restoration has been my go-to plumbing service for a while now. My main line backs up a few times a year and they are always quick to come out, clear the line and get us going again. I've also had them fix my shower, as well. They are friendly, honest, their prices are reasonable, and their customer service is top-notch.

I know that when PD Plumbing is on the job- that not only am I getting quality service from knowledgeable staff, I'm also getting the peace of mind in knowing that they have all of the bases covered. I can call anytime and know that they will be there, know exactly what to do, and get it done right the first time.

UPDATE****Tyler and Cooper came out on Feb 28, 2023. They diagnosed the problem and we made a plan for them to come out again to do the work (Water heater replacement). Both gentlemen were knowledgeable, professional, and explained our options clearly. Both of them also wore masks (per our request) and we appreciated that a bunch because we have immunocompromised people in our home. We are looking forward to the job ahead, and we are confident that they will do a great job. Thanks guys!

UPDATE**** Aaron and Jacob came out on March 2, 2023 to install a new water heater. The gentlemen came right on time, and got to work. They worked quickly, efficiently, and everything went well. They picked up after the work was done, and left the area just as it was when they arrived. They checked to make sure we were up and running before they left, and gave us a few estimates for future work. Aaron and Jacob also wore masks while they were in our home (per our request) and it was much appreciated. Thanks for keeping your services accessible to the immunocompromised and the medically fragile. Our family will happily keep using PD Plumbing! Well done, gentlemen!

I called and emailed several Heating and Air businesses in El Dorado without any responses.

PD Plumbing emailed right back and I was able to schedule a routine heater inspection two days later. I received a text message when the technician was on their way.

I would definitely use PD Plumbing Heating and Cooling again in the future.

All my drains were running slow, but there was a major clog somewhere. Tyler and Couper were right on time but unable to complete the job because there is a major problem at a spot where the pipes meet in the yard. Will require major repairs. But the service was great. Tyler explained the situation and we called the landlord.

Very courteous & knowledgeable. Provide extra tip on how to do preventive maintenance on kitchen sink pipes. Really appreciated the technician wearing shoe cover before entering the house.

Ken was quick in his assessment, and explained professionally what he would recommend. He was able to make phone calls and locate the pump that we needed. He returned in good time and installed it promptly, leaving everything as he found it.

The young men that came to work on our drain, were professional but very friendly. Along with being very knowledgeable. Definitely will call PD Plumbing the next time we have plumbing issues.
