Like an expensive Harbor Freight, You can find deals occasionally, but for the most part if you are buying name brand items that can be purchased elsewhere the items are grossly overpriced, generally close to 75% more.

Just look at the cost of RapidAir or 3M ear protection products as an example. It's so they can play game swith all the discounts, coupons, memberships, etc.

Nearly every time I order something I have problems with the shipment. IF I order an item that requires freight, the crate will arrive absolutely destroyed or if they are giving away gift cards with your purchase you will have to call to actually receive it. Fortunately they do take care of it right away but its happened to me 3 times now.

We bought a small Klutch brand cement mixer and had a very frustrating time putting it together. When we finally got towards the end, we learned the mixer blades were the wrong size for the model. We took it back and James was extremely professional and helpful in exchanging it for a different model with the correct parts. Super helpful and most importantly was willing to listen to our hardship and fristration. Thanks for helping us James! Because of you, we will be return customers. #customerservicetherightway

Do not buy shipped items from this company. They do not support in any way their logistics chain and getting home delivery on a stove or major tool is a 6 to 10 hour struggle on the phone at best. My stove is four days late, considered but why RC freight to be “wild“ meaning it’s lost in the system, no assistance from NT. Run

Free shipping turned out to be $9.66. Tax exempt turns out to be charged ($67.74) and supposedly refunded later. We will see

Northern Tool is well stocked with many products needed. Staff has always been helpful and courteous.

I am a Fan of Northern Tool. However, I would shop at Northern more often if they focused on AMERICAN MADE products.

Bought a product advertised as "universal." Turns out it would not work for my application at all. I contacted about a return and was told I would have to pay to return ship (heavy item) and pay a 15% restocking fee! OR they suggested I try and sell it on Facbook or Craigslist! Pathetic customer service.

Easy to find an item that's back ordered elsewhere. Only complaint is that I would have liked to pay for overnight shipping....but no option for that. No worries though, my fault for waiting until the last minute!
