Brian Schmitt Heating & Cooling

My home is 19 years old and it was time for a new A/C and furnace. I had multiple estimates and Brian was very knowledgeable and didn't try to over explain things. I also have a room that has not been warm in the winter and cold in the summer for the 19 years we have owned our home. Adam and Brian figured out the issue and with Chris's help this room now feels like the rest of the house. Great job guys. You can't go wrong using this local family owned business.

We love Brian Schmitt Heating and Cooling! We used them originally for our HVAC system and the price was unbeatable! Service was great and everything was done in a timely manner. This time we had a water heater installed and again we have no complaints. I highly recommend them.

Had to call Brian Schmitt Heating & Cooling at 8 am this morning for a sudden AC repair. The technicians, Cory and Chris, arrived before 11 am, and had the diagnosis very quickly. They were able to locate the replacement part (last one in town!) within minutes, had it installed and the unit functioning again within a few hours. They're very professional, informative, helpful, provide excellent service, and have plenty of patience for my endless questions. I signed up for their annual service plan in July, and I'm so glad I did. I highly recommend them to all my friends!

Cody has serviced our unit on more than one occasion and has always been very professional explains what has done and is willing to take the time to answer my questions. When I call for service Tracy takes the time to listen to what I need and is able to get me a quick appointment that works with my schedule.

Brian Schmitt and his entire crew were truly awesome. When a flooded basement in the home of my elderly mother in law knocked out the heating system, I didn’t hesitate to call Brian. His guys actually beat me to the location and alerted me to the situation. They followed through with the installation of a new system as soon as it was safe to do so. This prompt and extremely courteous action allowed the restoration process to commence before even more damage occurred. I have used Brian Schmitt Heating and Air at my home as well as my own parent’s home for many years and will continue to do so.

It's really hard to find good solid reliable companies that practice the old-school type business strategies (honesty integrity and professionalism).

It all started by contacting them to get a simple quote their were on time and their price was very competitive. The most impressive part was that Kevin was very patient and extremely knowledgeable about the work that he was quoting and explained step-by-step exactly what he will be doing. After receiving several bids, I went ahead and asked for a quick start and they jumped on the working mediately and finished up in one day!

I even had to step out and told Kevin I would be right back and had another contractor show up and Kevin was nice enough to let the contractor know what I needed done since I was not present, this is called going above and beyond!

Do not waste your time shopping around, trying to cut corners, go with a credible company that knows what they're doing, experienced and the price was respectful. I am happy!

Oh before I forget, after the installation there was a small issue that was a concern, they immediately addressed it and were there right away! This to me was impressive because they back up their word on service!!!!!

Hands down 10 stars if I could!

After I was charged for a service call and quoted over $1,100 from a “big name” contractor for replacement of bad blower motor and 2-pound refrigerant, I called Brain for a second opinion. He was on the phone with me for about 30mins patiently explained what could be wrong with my unit and his wife Traci managed to send their son Chris over under such short notice to my house for check up.

Chris showed up on time and deep cleaned the filter which was “cleaned“ by the previous contractor, he also deep cleaned the compressor unit outside. He further diagnosed that the motor still in working condition and does not need to be replaced, and I also do not need any additional refrigerant at this time, the only issue with my unit is the capacitor that need to be replaced which cost very reasonable. The unit undoubtedly goes back running after replacement of the capacitor.

Overall I spent 10 time less than what I would spend with that “big name” contractor to get my AC back on running. I truly believe Brain and his family goes above and beyond for what they suppose to do. I’m more than satisfied for their honesty and professionalism. I’m a US Army veteran and I stand behind my review and will recommend Brain to anybody that I know.

Had a great experience working with Brian Schmitt Heating & Cooling. They did a professional job on the installation and worked with me on the timing so I could be there when I was going to be in town. The American Standard Package Unit they installed was extremely quiet and works great. If you need quick and reliable service or a new unit I would highly recommend them.

This was my first time using Brian Schmitt Heating & Cooling. The young man that came out to service my AC unit was very courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. If he wasn't sure of the answer to my question, he was directly on the phone calling his journeyman to get me an answer. I was referred by a family friend, which is the best recommendation (word of mouth). I like doing business with a local family owned company! They will continue to get my business!!!

We had Schmitt in for AC problems with a 20+ year old system. We knew that replacement was not far away. So I had Brian do the estimate. We selected the system we wanted. He scheduled the replacement when it was convenient for us. He promised the entire job would be done in a day. It was. We're extremely happy with the new system. Very good people to work with.
