The salesman (Brad) and the installers were all great! Our a/c unit went out and we called another business who assessed the unit and gave us our options since the system is 15 years old. We paid the service fee and called Nunning and one other company. Nunning had the best price and the installers were very professional and cleaned up so well. We appreciate the entire process. Highly recommend them!

This is not a normal review. While moving, my boyfriend and I were unpacking/cleaning when I realized one of my cats was missing. I was certain he did not get out and when I discovered we had left one large vent uncovered while waiting on a replacement cover I realized the cat had to have entered the duct work. I panicked and had no idea what to do. Eventually I called Nunning and they sent someone over. His name was Joseph and he was fantastic and arrived quickly. He helped look and open up different areas of the furnace and ductwork to check for our cat. He was so kind and helpful and even the woman who answered the phone was kind and didn’t laugh at us like some others did. I was extremely worried about my cat being stuck or hurt because it’s a old house with old duct work. However, we saw no sign of him in the duct work so unfortunately we had to give up. But it was a great comfort to know he wasn’t stuck in the duct work. And good news, while waiting for Nunning to arrive the cat had actually made it out of the duct work in another area without us realizing and was hiding, terrified. We found him later that day.

I have used Nunning for several years doing maintenance on my aging HVAC units but a few weeks ago my furnance blower started making a loud noise & it was determined that the furnance was, in fact, on it's last leg. Nunning was at my home within an hour of my call, estimated my units the next day & installed new AC & Heating units the following week. They even brought me a few heaters (just in case) the heater went out before the new system got installed. I love working with them and have always found them to be affordable, professional and very knowledgeable. I refer all my friends to them.

Had them come out to check on my system in my barn. Was very aware of the minimum hourly rate. I paid attention to the exact arrival time because of this. Tech kept making completely irrelevant small talk. I tried to keep things moving along and we wrapped up with 20 minutes to spare. I asked if we could look at my house unit as well since we still had time. We wrapped up within the hour. Went to pay and he charged for 1.5 hours. He literally charged me for all that time he spent talking about his wife.

Accidental Hippie

I live in a large apartment complex that Nunning Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Inc. services. You would think that keeping a large client like that would be important to them. However, I have been without air conditioning for five days.

The management of my complex has always been very good about taking care of any issues that may arise, so I know the problem doesn't exist with them. After speaking with management on several occasions, it appears that Nunning Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Inc. is to blame.

I've called Nunning Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Inc. myself (several times) and cannot get a response from anyone as to what the holdup is. 82 degrees inside my apartment at bedtime means that I haven't been able to get any meaningful sleep, can't do any work from home, and dare not try to cook in fear of making things worse. If there is a reasonable explanation for this delay, I would never know as Nunning Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Inc. seems to be indifferent to the repeated calls from myself and the management of my complex. A little advice; be wary of trusting your comfort and safety to this company.

A little communication from Nunning Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Inc. might have helped to avoid this one-star rating and the bad publicity that will result from my continued word-of-mouth and online diatribes.

My sister-in-law’s air conditioning went out a few days ago. I called a very reputable ac business to see if I could get some help soon. I was told they could not take care of her for 5-7 days. I called Nunnig’s and they had a technician out in a couple of hours who found out what the problem was rather quickly. The next morning they installed a new heating and air unit. She was very happy with the work and service. Great company.

My experience was very terrible with Nunning. Firstly, they told me that they would send someone out to check my central air unit and shoot me a price. I was told they would come out on a Wednesday before 3 because I had to go to work on second shift. Nobody showed up or called to tell me that they weren't going to make it. It was early the next morning when a man came out. He shot me an outrageous price and said that I would have to pay up front and he also charged me more than the $82 that I was quoted by someone in their office the day before. The man knew what part needed to be replaced and I got that verified by getting another company to come out and diagnose it. They charged me only $50 to come out and their price that they shot me was $800 less!! So goodbye Nunning. Go on ripping off some other people, but it won't be me.

My condensate pump went out and I called to have fixed. A tech was sent out to repair and a few days later I noticed water all over my kitchen floor. I had thought my water heater went out so I called a plumber which advised me that the condensate pump was not draining into the correct place so it was leaking onto the floor. I called nunning to come back out to fix which they did but I was out $95 because I had to call a plumber. I called and left a message about getting my $95 refunded and no one had the decency to call me back. I won't be going with them anymore.

They sent a guy to my place that was clueless. My AC couldn't even come close to keeping up. I live in a trailer so the AC unit is outside. He walked into my hallway and asked me what the blower was. I said you are the AC repairman you tell me. He didn't know. I took him to the AC unit. He looked it over and decided nothing was wrong with anything I just need to turn my ceiling fan on reverse and that would cool down my 90 degree house. Total joke.

Did not arrive on promised date, will not give ETA nor will they call to let you know they are on the way. Would not give timeframe to order parts and had to make a separate trip with a “supervisor” to be sure the part number was correct. Scared my dog, left all the lights on and helped themselves to a guest bathroom. Would recommend calling a different company for service
