The coldest day of the year and our furnace quit working. I called Crawford’s emergency line as they were closed Friday 23 Dec. the technician was here in about 3 hours, found the problem right away and had to go get the parts needed. Even with the freezing temperature and blizzard conditions Casey was able to get what he needed and replaced what needed to be replaced and had our heat back on within the hour.
I don't know about the plumbing skills of this company but if they are any thing like the driver of thier truck this morning I would not trust it. On I 74 headed to Iowa at 745 am this driver cut me off twice he didn't use a signal and on the 74 Bridge swerved in and out of lanes no signal. In my opinion if you are driving a company vehicle you are representing that company and reckless driving is not professional.
The employees this company has are OUTSTANDING and RESPONSIVE and PROFESSIONAL and CARING.We were so grateful for Gary and his hard work on installation.
Then...when our basement flooded, James came out immediately to make sure our new equipment was safe.
Keith and the team at Crawford were fantastic. I want to specifically call out Keith as he’s been our technician for the last few years across two houses. He always takes his time, makes it a priority to say hi to our children (if they’re around) and has taught me some great tips around the systems. We’ll continue to spread the word about Keith and Crawford.
NOT Happy. Had them install a new hot water heater, they left water all over the floor, plus the old pipes. Also had them install a new faucet in the bathroom. When they were here I wasn't getting much hot water out of the kitchen, so he went and banged on the pipes, (80 yr old pipes). So now I hole in a pipe and is leaking water, and the stopper not working on the faucet. They came back and taped the pipe, which still leaks, and fixed the stopper, which now also leaks..
Our furnace stopped heating on a Sunday evening. My call to Crawford's after-hours service number was promptly responded to by Casey M, who arrived shortly afterward. Casey quickly diagnosed the problem as a failed gas valve and fortunately had a replacement part on his truck. After installing the new part Casey double-checked that there were no gas leaks and double-checked the furnace's operation. I'm appreciative of Casey's prompt response and efficient and professional service on a cold Sunday evening.
We have used Crawford for installation of high pressure compressed air and commercial grade gas line plumbing. We have also used Crawford for HVAC services. They are easy to work with, provides accurate and detailed information about what work should be / is performed, and are highly skilled craftsman. They are also dedicated to making sure the customer is satisfied with their work. We will continue to use Crawford as our go to for plumbing and HVAC.
I highly recommend Crawford. Their employee Ron was just great. Did a great job and was very friendly. Nice to see an employee that was upbeat and knew what he was doing. I will definitely call them again for future plumbing issues. Thanks Crawford Co.
I called 5 other companies, Crawford first, then ended up with Crawford. Ian, the technician, was very professional & courteous. He fixed the problem.. My humidifier fell off. I had no clue what it was! Instead of trying to gourd money out of me, he explained the function and covered up the spot it was in (hunidifier). Thank you Crawford Company for not taking advantage of an older widow woman. YES! I'll be back for all my needs.
I contacted Crawford Plumbing to get an estimate for a sewer repair that was found by another company. They stated they would have to do their own inspection and there would be a charge for that. I understood and agreed to the charge. They did a camera inspection on 12/29/21 just to say , yup it's where they said it was. The charge for the inspection was $175 and as of today, 1/13/22, they have not provided an estimate. I am disappointed to say the least. Update Shortly after I posted the review I was provided an estimate. Apparently I offended someone because the estimate was 4 times higher than 2 others I had received. Very childish and unprofessional in my opinion. I had Crawford install a furnace and a/c system in 2015 and was pleased with their work. Apparently there have been changes since then. Further update; I did receive a call from a representative of Crawford Plumbing. He was very apologetic and respectful. He explained that it was a breakdown in communication that led to the inflated estimate. I'm sorry but I don't believe that. When I receive an estimate, that I have waited for for 2 weeks, within an hour of posting a review for 4 TIMES the amount of 2 separate competitors, I stand by my original statement. Funny thing about trust, once you trample it and kick it to the curb, it is very hard if not impossible to get back.
