    On Sunday (of course) we heard a rattling noise from the heater. And of couse, It was below freeze outside. I called Allied and left a message. I received a call back in 10 min! Described the noise. Was assured that the unit will continue working through the night and that Monday morning I will get a phone call to schedule an appointment with a technician. And, so, Monday morning I got a phone call and was able to schedule an appointment around my lunch time; that was great - I would not need to take any time off my work. The technician came on time and repaired the heater within two hours.
    The service can't be better!

    I have been a customer of Allied Air Conditioning and Heating for over 20+ years. I have purchased two furnaces, two air conditioners and two humidifiers from them, in two separate residents. They are an outstanding company, which I would highly recommend. I always have Bob come out to service my furnace, air conditioner and humidifier, as he is exceptional at what he does and I like the continuity of care, by only using him.

    I had a bad professional experience with Jason Webster, the commercial manager. My company needed to install a humidifier.

    Over phone Jason gave me an estimate for the total work including parts and labor in between of $600 to $1200, depending on the distance from the room to the nearby water line. The waterline is right next to the room, so we were excepting the price closer to $600. A couple of days later Jason sent the proposal totaling in $1,496.

    It took Jason a couple of days to answer. He said the price is high due to the price of the equipment. The price of the equipment was $360. So after multiple attempts to reach to Jason, I proposed to buy equipment by myself and asked for the quote of the labor. It took him more than a week to respond. He was not picking up the phone or answering my emails during that time.The final response was that they can do that, only labor will cost us $1250.

    Immediately, on 12/4/2017 I wrote an email to Jason asking to explain why the price is that high and why is it different from the first $600-1200 estimate range. He has never reached out to me ever since, ignored all of my emails.

    I will update the review if the company reaches back to me.

    Just purchased a new furnace from Allied. Have used them for years to service my HVAC equipment and have been very satisfied with their work.
    Patrick (salesman) described all of the various furnaces and options very clearly and explained what advantages/benefits each of them would provide. After the installation I found his descriptions of what benefits I would enjoy to be accurate, and am extremely pleased with my new furnace.
    Jason did an excellent job installing the new furnace and controls. The existing furnace plenum had been butchered by various previous installers. Rather than just modify the existing plenum he completely replaced all of the sheet metal and re-piped the gas line, leaving a clean installation with no patches. Does the all new clean looking installation improve the furnace performance? Probably not, but it does reflect the pride Jason has in his work and the professionalism of Allied.
    After installation I noticed that the pilot light on my water heater was not lit and called Allied for service. Within an hour Whittaker arrived, lit the pilot light, and showed me how he did it in case it would go out again. He then asked me how I liked my new furnace and if I was comfortable with new remote access control for the furnace and A/C unit, and if I understood how to operate it and select the various options. He offered to demonstrate all the settings and explain how to access and use the various features. That proved to be great suggestion. I now have an understanding of all of the setting and how to change/adjust them. I connected the control to my wi-fi network and have the Carrier app for the control on my iPhone. I can monitor and/or adjust everything for my furnace & A/C remotely from my iPhone.
    In summary, Allied is the triple crown of the HVAC business. A salesman with good product knowledge, professional installation and prompt support from a highly qualified service technician.

    These guys are the best they helped out so much to find me the part I need to fix my furnace, The Young technician that came out to do a maintenance service he was polite respectful of my property and the interior of my home and just all round nice guy!!! trane on the other hand are worthless pieces of junk stay away from trane especially train of Buffalo Grove.

    Whittaker B. was our service technician for the second scheduled visit on our maintenance contract. He is always prompt, knowledgeable, and thorough. He completes his work in a timely fashion and is always willing to stick around to answer any of my questions. I always enjoy working with Allied & Whittaker.

    Chris was really great. Very respectful of the house by immediately putting on shoes covers, identifies the problem and a couple unknown problems, identified options and didn't push the most expensive option. I would highly recommend Allied and Chris!

    My technician,Chris, did an excellent thorough job inspecting and cleaning my 2 AC's. He showed and explained where the problems were and gave me options of repairing or replacing. I will use Allied again to look at my furnaces!

    happy with their maintenance assistance. The Libertyville company originally installed our Carrier furnace; it is still performing well.
