I had Dave come out and service my furnace. I bought an older home and I had a lot of anxiety with the condition of my furnace and water heater. Dave was professional and honest about what is going on. He calmed my fears on the unit and fixed what needed to be fixed. I am a single mother and I rely on people being honest. I would recommend Johansen and Anderson for all furnace, water heater and air conditioning needs. I will not go with another company as their integrity is like no other. Thank you for your service.

Recently we decided that it was time to replace our furnace. It was 25 years old and we knew it was living on borrowed time.

After doing a little homework, we talked with a couple companies before deciding to go with Johansen and Anderson. Deciding factors included the fact that they have been around for almost 75 years, have an excellent rating with the Better Business Bureau and install the highly rated York furnaces. Also, we were impressed with the salesperson we worked with. Chris was able to answer all our questions and really helped us to figure out what unit would work best for our needs.

Getting our old unit removed and out of the house proved to be more difficult than anticipated but the installers figured out how to do it and never complained. They were sure to get all the old components thrown away and cleaned the area spotlessly before installing the new unit.
Chris helped us to take advantage of all the available rebates and discounts from ComEd, Nicor and others by providing us with the proper paperwork so the total cost was even less than we had thought!

We have now been through our first winter with our new furnace and it performed flawlessly. We are very happy with the service we got from Johansen and Anderson and wanted to let others know that this is a very good company to do business with.

Great Company, They Stand behind the York Brand. I had an issue with my A/C unit 2 years after purchasing A/C and Furnace together and took out the extended warranty. J&A replaced the entire A/C unit. The President of J&A (Rick Cronholm) personally came out to my house to ask if i had any concerns or questions. The service tech was a total professional. I recommend J&A and the York brand to anyone that is looking for a new furnace or A/C unit.

I can't thank everyone enough at J&A! Saturday evening, Nicor detected that my furnace was giving off carbon monoxide, thanks to my Co2 detector, so they shut the furnace off. Early Sunday morning, I placed a service call to Johansen & Anderson and within the hour, a service man was already here. I knew I would be replacing my furnace soon due to it's age, but I didn't realize it would become a safety issue. (I didn't have annual inspections) On Sunday, I never considered calling any other HVAC provider. I was already aware of their dependability, professionalism & overall concern for their customers because we use J&A at work. Larry explained my options of a new system & offered the available rebates. He is wonderful, and I appreciate all of his help & information.The installers were polite, respectful & knowledgable. They were very neat & even placed a carpet runner from my front door, all the way downstairs to the furnace. They explained the new thermostat etc, & when they left, there was absolutely no mess left whatsoever. I want to also thank Rick, the owner, for his concern. Proof to me that when you're a local business owner, what matters most, is the quality you offer to your customers because not only are you part of the community, but that's your reputation out there.

The serviceman Travis who did the furnace maintenance was very professional, courteous and thorough. The customer service people also were very professional, friendly and informative. Have used their service for 11 years .

We had an emergency with our furnace. It started to smell like something was burning to me. It was early Sunday morning. I called Johansen & Anderson, and they sent someone out right away. They replaced the blower motor and my furnace was up and running. This all was within a few hours. They have also helped with issues we had with our air conditioner last year. Very nice people to work with. They are extremely knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend them.
