Amazing and quick service!they were really helpful. I just recently moved in to my new home when I realized the air conditioner was broken. I gave Duffy's Heating & Air Conditioning a call and they came and fixed it in a snap! I can't recommend them more highly!

Terrible experience!
Have recently moved to Hoffman Estates and it felt like the furnace couldn’t keep the set temperature. So googling the reviews Ied me to Duffy’s. They told me that servicing my furnace is going to cost me $100 and plus labor/parts. I agreed and technician named Russel showed up. It took him less than 20 minutes to clean the furnace and that did the trick. However, I got shocked when he handed me a bill totaling $805.
$805 just for cleaning the furnace!!! I told him that’s not what I expected and definitely beyond my budget. Then he goes giving me a discount that lowers the total to $450 but still looks too expensive. The guy said that he is going to get in trouble and this is best he can do, so i paid up. A novice in this field, after some research it turns out that I could have gotten a service for at least 6-7 furnaces with $450. Hence, the advice - stay away from these guys! Btw, the bizarre bill attached!

Mark is by far the best technician! He takes the time to explain what he is doing and answers any questions you have. He recommends what he thinks is best for your unit and is honest, which I appreciate. We recently cancelled our maintenance service, but in one year we will be signing back up all because of him. Thank you!

Misdiagnosed problem and charged me over $350 for new thermostat. Came out again because furnace failed to ignite again. Could not accurately figure out issue and charged me $150. Called another company and they immediately figured out it was igniter. In short any decent repair person should have known immediately what issue was and when I called repeatedly for refund for just the overpriced thermostat they would agree but never have refund and eventually stopped answering there phone. By the way their listed address is a jewelry shop.

I appreciate James' expertise in troubleshooting my heating and air condition systems. He quickly diagnosed system problems, identified equipment and solutions to resolve each problem. His skills in routine and preventive maintenance was top notch as well. His communication and interpersonal skills were outstanding. A special thank you to James and looking forward to many more years of service.

The service tech arrived on time, he was very pleasant, very professional and wore the booties over his boots. He went the extra mile in providing professional service in a friendly and personable manner. I have used this company for several service and they are wonderful everything from their service techs to their customer service.

Everyone with this company was extremely helpful. They took the time to explain any questions I had about the different systems and also gave me a detailed run down of the system after it was installed. The installers were very polite and took great care to not get any dirt on our floors.
