Had a great experience with Steve from Grand Comfort. Our furnace wasn't working and he was able to come the same day (on a Saturday) to take a look. He was on time, professional, and pleasant to speak with throughout the job. Our issue was partially due to previous technicians who didn't wire our furnace correctly. I was particularly impressed with Steve because he identified that previous work wasn't done correctly and addressed those issues first before diving deeper into troubleshooting other problems. It turns out the incorrect wiring was the core issue, and fixing this got our furnace back up and running. The service cost was extremely reasonable. I absolutely will call Grand Comfort again (and ask for Steve) for all future HVAC jobs. Thanks Steve!

We called Grand Comfort in for a second opinion on a furnace inspection that we had the day before. The previous company told us that we had a crack in our heat exchanger. They also told us that we needed other items added to the furnace. Their quote was over $3,500.00 for the repairs. The technician that came in from Comfort said there was nothing wrong with our furnace. I am so glad we called, the technician was honest and very professional. We are changing companies for our heating and air conditioning needs.

I recently booked an appointment with this company for replacing the gas furnace in my home and they could not have been any better to work with. The installation was very smooth and the best thing is that the technicians called me up after some days to know whether everything is working fine or not. Their services are completely reliable and I would definitely call them again in future. 5 stars from my side.

We had the worst experience with this company. The original technician that was sent said we were completely out of freon. He said he filled it and included a spray liner to help with future leaks. He charged $1,000 for the maintenance and labor. Less than two weeks later the freon was 100% empty again. The same technician was sent out and said the leak must be somewhere else and that we would be better off with a brand new unit. He offered to do the work with his buddy for a cheaper rate than Grand Comfort would charge. Because we were skeptical that he actually did the original work in the amount that was paid for, and the fact that he was trying to work around his own company, we opted to go with a different company. The new technician said he couldn’t find evidence of a leak that would empty a unit of it’s entire contents of freon in less than two weeks. He also said there wasn’t any evidence that the spray liner was ever used. I called Grand Comfort to inquire about getting our money back. After playing phone tag over several weeks with the office manager, who mentioned that the technician that worked on our unit had been fired, I was contacted by the general manager. We also went back and forth over several weeks. After all of this they only offered a $300 refund. I even offered a 50-50 split ($500) - I just wanted $500 to be done with it. Basically they thought $700 was a fair payment for sending a questionable technician and less than two weeks of air-conditioning. They wouldn’t budge. I would avoid this company for any of your HVAC needs.

Got a replacement heater and A/C unit from them. The installers spoke almost no English so I could not communicate with them. They did not address the horrible furnace filter holder which is one thing I was really looking forward to being fixed with a new furnace and A/C unit which I got from them. Also, they left work debris inside and outside the house - not a large amount, but enough to be unprofessional and to make me have to go around picking it up after they left. On the plus side, they did beat my next higher estimate by about 15%.

Horrible company! While reading the reviews i don't really know who they have been dealing with or if they are fake, but i am a current real customer. I hired Tempcare (now re-branded to Grand Comfort) to do a large plumbing job and have been dealing with Rafael. He initially threatened to put mechanical lien on the property and wanted to get paid 80% upfront for only doing $500 worth of works when i had already paid $2000. Damaged drains and then wanted to "fix" them by doing additional works and charging me for more. They asked me to remove the reviews as they were going to "fix" the issues. Well i gave them a chance and what a bad decision, they sent someone which was very incompetent, didn't test for water running properly and now have leaks and have to deal with more expensive drywall issue and re-do the work. What i signed for in the contract is yet to be completed after 5.5 weeks. I have never dealt with such a bad service and told it would be completed and it is still not completed. Rafael keeps sending this guy that speaks no English so clearly i cannot communicate, the guy shows up for or less than 30 minutes, does hardly anything and the leaves. How is the job supposed to be completed? Very disappointed with this company, i thought as previous reviews were good and they seemed big they would be professional and i though i had made the right decision but what a complete disappointment and bad experience!! Would not recommend them to anyone to save a huge headache!!!

An update to my previous review: More damage was done to the house and still not completed in full (8 weeks later). I paid them in full with full trust they would complete and when they couldn't be bothered and kept sending someone very incompetent who really didn't know what was doing and didn't do much, i reversed through my credit card company one of the charges, and now they want to put a lien for not doing all the works per the contract in full!!!! that's not the way to do business, they definitely won't be in business for long if they continue this and threaten their customers. Rafael has a really bad attitude and always blaming instead of taking responsibility! Absolutely horrible and worst experience!

Service was astounding by our technician Gary. Very friendly and knowledgeable and got our furnace warmed back up in no time. I was already expecting good service from the other reviews but Gary and his team blew my expectations away. Absolutely hire this company if you can!

I had originally scheduled an appt around December of 2018 to have a humidifier put in place. Gary came out and due to the vent set up, it wasn't possible so I had Gary do a standard check up. My furnace would shut off randomly and my nest would say no power so he came out about 3 times and ending up changing the filters, replace all hear sensors, etc. Roughly $1,200 later, the problem seemed to be solved. I thought the cost of the repair and labor was a bit excessive but at that time I was just glad the problem was solved as winter is fast approaching. The reason I'm writing this review now is because I just turned on the heat and turns out, same problem is happening now...the $1,200 fix only lasted 1 winter so now I have to go through the whole process again to find a reputable HVAC guy who doesn't seem to overcharge their customers and are honest.

Tech (Gary) came out to the site and diagnosed the issue with the AC, but due to needing to cut holes in the drywall (homeowner responsibility) they could not. The tech carefully outlined all the steps in how to go about correcting the issue with me. I followed his steps and the materials to obtain and was able to complete the job successfully. Thanks again for being so detailed and accommodating.
