    Tom from Make responded quickly. Identified problem with April air that caused furnace to shut off. He fixed the problem and did some extra maintenance. Tom was very professional and would use Maki again.

    I have used Maki in the past and have always been satisfied with the service. Now again I required service, Tech Tony was quick to call a say he was in route. He diagnosed the problem and had to order the part. Luckily he was able to keep the unit running till he got the part.
    He was professional and respectful of the fact the unit could stop working. So he kept in touch.
    This morning he completed the part installation, he was courteous and respectful of our house he was prepared with boot covers to protect the carpet.

    They were able to come out same day (within hours) to fix our air conditioning. When they didn't have a part needed in stock, they drove 30 minutes out of their way to pick it up. I'm so grateful that on a 90+ degree day, we were able to have our house cool again by mid-afternoon.

    I have used Maki for years to not only install, but to service and maintain a rental unit HVAC system. I have them out yearly to perform an annual cleaning. This year, after having the unit cleaned, the tenants called to complain about a week later it was making a funny noise, so I called Maki out to take a look.

    Much to my surprise, the tech that came out to fix the noise indicated the following "System very dirty w/ dog hair & dirt. System unmaintained."

    I called Maki to complain to see why I had just paid for a cleaning and then to discover a week later the tech said it had been unmaintained. I'm questioning if the unit has ever been cleaned by them at this point.

    I had asked for a call back from the service manager - never received a call back and never heard again from Maki until today - when I received an invoice from them asking for payment. Still no call, explanation or apology. I won't be using Maki again.

    Maki's installation crew installed an American Standard / Trane gas furnace and air conditioning unit, removing a 25 year old system. Rarely in my life, as an engineer, have I see, let alone experienced, such quality workman ship. Ourstanding!
