First impression, amazing people! Our AC went out yesterday and we called HEC due to recommendations I received a month ago to find a new company after our existing company decided we weren't worth their time not living in the Boise/Meridian area and opted to raise their rates by 400% (I'm not kidding).
Jim showed up earlier than the estimated time-frame and got right to it. The problem was found and fixed in less than 20 minutes, and once again the system was back to normal. Jim was great to talk to and had a great personality and excellent professionalism in his work. Also, Kudos to Monica in the office who took the time to answer my question and explain their service agreements. I immediately asked to sign up after hearing what a great deal they offered.
We are looking forward to having them on our side in the future!
Horrible customer service. They do not communicate with one another. We call them in July to fix our furnace and it was finally fixed in November. It took them 4 months to fix our furnace and we still had to find some of the parts ourselves because they couldn't. Jason kept saying everyday for a month that he would be out to fix it and everyday there would be an excuse as to why he couldn't. We finally contacted the owner Stanley and stuff started to get done! Stanley does an outstanding job and cares about his company but hes employees don't. They gave us a quote for so much and then when we got our bill and it was about a 1,000 dollars over the quote they gave us. 2 weeks after they fixed our furnace it stopped working and they can't find the time to come fix our furnace. I will never go through this company and I will never recommend them to anyone. Horrible customer service, the desk lady acts like she doesn't even know whats going on and can't assist you for anything! Save you money and go else where!!!!!!!!!
Heating Equipment Co has been servicing my home and business for many years. I appreciate their timely service and professionalism. A few others have noted the issues they have had with this HVAC company; I have not had any issues and am grateful for Stanley and his employees. I hope you have the same experience that I have had for many years, and I still use them!
Great service. Monday. July 1, 2013. The hottest day of the year. 108 - record breaking heat and of course the day my (and many others) AC fails. I spent a few hours online trying to figure out what was wrong and I think (hope) it is the capacitor for the blower. I took the old part there. They were quite busy but still took the time to check it for me at no cost. They had the new part in stock and for $4.04 (tax included) I had my AC working again. They will get all my future business and I will be happy to tell friends about the great service they provide.
I went in one day looking for a small piece of insulated flex duct . Without hesitation, the owner or manager got me what I needed to finish replacing my mothers ductwork. They asked all the right questions, stopped what they were doing and got me the supplies I needed. I was so relieved that they took the time to help me out bc after calling and going to every hvac company from Boise to Caldwell they all told me the same thing. We don’t sell to individuals only commercially licensed contractors. When all I needed was a $30-50 piece that Home Depot or lowes didn’t carry that size so I having this guys help me out was a great blessing. Even though from the outside their store looks like its closed bc there lights are off or very dim...there open! Good people and a good & honest company. Next time I need a hvac job done I’m giving them a call
I bought a top of the line system from Heating Equipment Co. The system from Lennox heats and cools the house just fine. But three years into getting annual service done they forgot about me and this continued for 3 more years. I have since move to another Lennox dealer.
I contacted Heating Equipment Co after years of uneven heating in my home. No other HVAC company took the problem serious and suggested half measure patches without getting to the root cause. Stanley Johnson came into my home and performed an in-depth analysis and offered to use his building science knowledge and expertise to fully evaluate my HVAC system. He found the system was designed incorrectly, with the wrong coil and several code violations. His team came into my home and made some major changes to improve the flow of air throughout the house. There was a small oversight that caused a major headache for his team. However, there was no hesitation to get it right on his nickel. Now my home is comfortable in all the rooms with the furnace working far less to heat the home. I can’t say enough about Heating Equipment Co.!
This company goes above and beyond to treat it's customers well, to give a good price, and quick service. Employees and super friendly and helpful. I hope this local company is around for years to come.
