Mike was very helpful. He talked me throught the symptoms of my air conditioner failure. He prevented mulitple trips and helped avoid me buying the wrong parts to fix the issue. I had the unit working again within a few hours on 100+ deg day. Glad to have Johnstone available to business owners in Boise.

Really impressed with Johnstone. He came out and fixed my water heater problem for $500 less than another plumber quoted me and was very friendly and personable. The other plumber said I needed a new overflow tank, among other things, which I did not.

Called them to buy a $10 Goodman interlock safety switch for my Amana furnace. The switch in my furnace failed, and that prevented the furnace from powering up. The store rep told me that they are a wholesale supplier to the industry, and since I didn't have an acct, I couldn't buy the part from them. So don't waste your time trying to get furnace parts from them unless you have a wholesale acct!

wont quote prices over the phone, wont deal with out of state contractor. AC techs are charging 600 to replace a 100 motor in an AC unit and they don't want the public to know. Go to amazon and order it yourself. Learn how to put it in, its easy. They also run you though the whole process before they will tell you they will give you no information

I drove 10 miles to get there after a deep freeze in Boise. I needed a small replacement part to stop a leak in my furnace that was flooding the floor. All the contractors in the area were busy. They refused to sell me even an o-ring because I was not a contractor. I told them I was desperate and they still refused to help. Nothing like making us all dependent on contractors by maintaining a closed system even in a desperate situation.
I found out that anything I can buy from them I can buy online for less.

Been doing business with these guys for 15+ years. Great guys, and provide very helpful information, when in a pinch. Like a well oiled machine, they are on top of their game.

I was referred to drop a gift off from a customer. I asked the gentleman on the phone if I could get a good day and time and his response was "well, not right now." And HUNG UP on me. Absolutely unprofessional and rude. Especially when they were being given a gift from a client.
