My sister has been having issues with her AC, and McCalls came out very quickly. Tim B was great and very professional, and got the unit replaced the same day.
We called late last night due to our system not working. They promptly sent out Tim Bowles to run a diagnostic on the system. He was quick and professional and quickly figured out our issues. Hopefully the part comes in quickly and can be replaced as quickly as it was diagnosed.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY we have been loyal customers for our two properties for 2 years. I assume the company ownership has changed hands because service, quality of work and professionalism has Drastically changed. First property- following their recommendation, we ordered expensive air filters that took months to come in (I assume because of COVID was no fault of their own) but when they did finally arrive they improperly fit and it took a couple of appointments to get a technician to even come and correct the issue. The filters are still sitting where they were left by the technician and was not corrected. The second property, small house- scheduled a annual full maintenance appt young guy showed up (come to find out it was the owners son) glanced at our unit outside said “seems to be running fine” as he was about to leave we asked was he doing the maintenance we made the appointment for, he said oh they must have booked something else. I’ll let the office know. Called the office immediately, they said the misunderstanding was on their end and we made another maintenance appt. (they still sent us $150 BILL for no work that had been done) the next day we noticed that our air conditioner wasn’t running fine like the young man had told us, we easily were able to find a major leak under the unit inside and a huge clog in the drain line. So the maintenance appt finally happened. Two young guys showed up that said they have only worked there a couple of weeks “cleared out the drain line” and installed a float switch. The next day it continued to leak inside, the float switch was improperly installed. When my husband politely called and spoke with the owner, the owner basically told us that he had other big projects going on and he will get to it when he gets to it. When we discussed the bill and error on the company’s part he said “I’ll split it with you” (something we were mistakenly billed for) My husband said well your workers have come twice and we are getting billed for things that haven’t been done correctly, if your too busy to make it right don’t come back. The owner said “sounds great to me” and hung up on us. Very unprofessional very disappointed. I will be reporting this company to the better business bureau as well as taking our business as well as our relatives business who we had originally recommended them to somewhere else. DONT GET CONNED They will charge you for improperly done work, take your money and simply hang up in your face when you try to get them to to fix their shotty job.
A funny guy named Dale came out to fix my air that's been broken since October. Another company came out and said it was the blower, the mother board, and never fixed it, luckily I never paid them a penny, they just left and never came back. But Dale opened it up and within 45 minutes said it was a broken wire showed it to me. He had it fixed in minutes. Then he checked the heating and air even my filter. I was very pleased. It only costed me 224.00. I'm a happy camper. Dale was very funny, talkative, and knew what he was doing and showed me everything. I'm a life time McCall's customer. Thanks guys.
Took awhile to get to the root of my issue but was pleased with how thorough Harold my technician was. After going through my entire system piece by piece, my issue turned out to be my Nest thermostat not working anymore. Harold even spent 1 hour on the phone with Nest to resolve my issue and have the company send me a new one. Harold did get tied up on another job once my schedule was set for him to come back to replace my new thermostat as is customary with contracting work. However, he still showed up and resolved my issue quickly once my new thermostat arrived. Very straightforward company and easy to work with.
If I could give no stars, I would. They claimed to fix a problem with our AC. Charging over $400. After several complaints, they came to check the system, said it was working fine and charged a service call fee. I gave up on them and hired another company to fix the problem and the AC has been working fine ever since. I asked McCall's for a refund and they refused.
Thank you for your prompt service. Harold was very knowledgeable about the system and was able to make the diagnosis, ordered the parts and returned to get the system fixed. McCalls was quick in its response to my needs. Once again thanks.

The price they charged was very reasonable and we will be using them in the future.
Recently had a new AC system installed by McCalls. I felt like they were honest, and were fairly priced compared to other quotes from local comapnies. The guys they sent out to set everything up were professional, and cleaned up after themselves. I will definitely be going to them for all future HVAC needs, and recommend them to anyone.
